MODERN DANCE
MECHANICS
 To be participated by Grade 9 and 10 students.
 It must be 1 music only and no remix.
 Music may vary with the student’s desire as long as it is not inappropriate and
shows offensive language.
 Choreography should not be vulgar and must not contain any subliminal or
sexually suggestive act.
 The costume must be presentable and suitable to the music.
 Each section will bring the music of their choice in USB (mp3 format). It should
be submitted 2 days prior to the event.
 The students will be judged according to the following criteria.

Choreography and Originality 30%
Synchronization/Timing 20
Mastery 10
Overall 100%
SONG SOLO
MECHANICS
 The participant can select their own piece with must not exceed four (4) minutes.
 The piece must be in the original. It could be in a minus 1 or by using an
accompaniment. (only the participant is allow to use an accompaniment)
 Lip Sync is not allowed. Pre-recorded is prohibited.
 Attire must be decent and appropriate for the competition.
 The song to be sung must be English or Tagalog.
 The competition music must not contain inappropriate, lewd, or offensive
language.
 The participant should finish the whole duration of the song.
 Violation to any rule will result to deduction.
 The students will be judged according to the following criteria.
