Tournament targeted at the circa 500 courses designed by Scotsman Donald Ross in the USA. Events held at
local, and state level with winners being flown on specially chartered 747 from New York to Prestwick for the
International Final held at Royal Dornoch. Part of the proceeds from the Tournament were donated to the March of
Dimes charity for birth defects with their National Ambassadors being taken to the International Final.

COMPANY BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Scotia Golf Inc was established by Calum A. Todd and 2 partners and at the time became one of the largest Golf
Tour Operators in the USA focusing primarily on programmes to Scotland. One of the company highlights was the
co-chartering of the Concorde from New York to RAF Leuchars for the 1984 Open Championship at the Old Course,
St. Andrews, carrying many of the top players from America. The company was also the Preferred Golf Tour
Operator for British Caledonian Airways (subsequently taken over by British Airways).
The St. Andrews Heritage Pro-Am Inc was a JV company between Scotia Golf Inc and the head professionals of
Houston Country Club (Charlie Epps) and River Oaks CC (Dick Harmon). The event took teams from 24 of the most
elite country clubs in Texas to play in a 4 round 3 course Pro-Am at St. Andrews, Carnoustie and Gleneagles.
Scotia Golf Ltd was the Ground Handling company for both operations and handled all hotel, golf, sightseeing and
transportation arrangements in Scotland.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES included all activities normally expected of a CEO and Director.
