Learning Objective: Examine the challenges of and strategies for developing better leadership skills
Be strong in the workplace. Wait, not too strong! Be assertive. Wait, that’s aggressive! There is an equal and opposite reaction to every piece of advice a woman leader receives. This seminar brings leaders together to share challenges and strategies for growth. Leadership grows when we hone our skills and learn to do what we are not good at. Influential leaders develop new skills by connecting diverse groups, envisioning new possibilities, and engaging others to achieve success. Effective leaders create networks to tap into innovative ideas, connect to people and develop new skills or leadership powers.
At the end of this seminar, participants will be able to:
a. Discuss the challenges of and how to develop practical leadership skills.
b. Explore techniques that build leadership skills and professional relationships.
c. Measure the impact of inspiring others and managing creative solutions.
d. Examine how utilizing coaching and engaging others can successfully achieve goals.
