Centre for Development of Telematics
(C-DOT) is the Telecom Technology
development centre of the
Government of India.C-DOT triggered
a telecom revolution in the rural India
that was responsible for all-round
socio-economic development. Rural
India gained access to a whole new
world of opportunities as they got
connected globally. As part of its
development process, C-DOT has
spawned a wide base of equipment
manufacturers and vendors.
C-DOT has one of the largest
installations of Oracle Primavera in
India. CADD Centre has carried on
about 990 installations of Oracle
primavera applications in both Delhi
and Bangalore locations. We upgraded
their existing Primavera V5 to Oracle
Primavera6V7. We have configured
applications for Delhi and Bangalore
users to access database in either of
the locations in a restricted
environment and deployed disaster
recovery for Primavera. We are
providing level-2 support to C-DOT
Bangalore and Delhi locations. We
gave training for their middle-
management and end users.
KRCL – PMIS Implementation
Konkan Railway executes projects at
tough terrains in India. It is trying to
construct the ChenabBridge, highest
railway structure of its kind in the
world, 35 m higher than Eiffel Tower in
Paris.Konkan Railway is in charge of
the Katra-Laole Section (90km) of
USBRL Project. It is the toughest
portion of the railway with over 92%
of the line either inside a tunnel or on
a bridge. The bridges comprise 12 km,
the tunnels comprise 72 km and only a
minuscule part of this stretch, 6 km, is
on open ground.
KRCL has one of the largest
installations for Oracle Primavera
Contract Management. It has
implemented Primavera EPPM and
Primavera Contract management to
monitor USBRL project. Primavera
EPPM has been used to monitor
physical progress of the project.
Contract management is used to
automate the Contract Billing process.
We have developed Managerial
dashboards to monitor the progress of
USBRL projects. We have also
developed thin client progress
reporter application which helps them
to update the progress. By using these
custom developed applications CADD
Centre helps KRCL to overcome IT
infrastructure challenges at remote
places like Reasi and Sangaldhan.
Srilanka – Corporate
Training
IRCON executes most of the railway
projects in Srilanka. It has secured US
$ 185.26 million project at Sri Lanka
for the work of restoration of
Omanthai-Pallai(90km) and re-
construction of Pallai-Kankesanthurai
Railway Line in Northern Province in
Sri Lanka for US$ 149.34 million, to
name a few.
CADD Centre Software solutions have
trained more than 15 project
management professionals of IRCON
Srilanka consisting of middle and top
management. We have conducted
hands-on training on how to plan,
schedule, execute and monitor &
control projects using primavera. We
covered both advanced and basic level
of training. We also trained and
assisted them to create project
template for their existing projects.
