3.  The domestic cat is a small,
usually furry, domesticated,
and carnivorous mammal. It is
often called the housecat when
kept as an indoor pet, or simply
the cat when there is no need to
distinguish it from
other felids and felines.
 Cats are valued by humans for
companionship and their ability to
hunt vermin and household pests.
 Personally, I also find them really
adorable.

9. Cats and the internet

10.  Since 2005, cats have become a popular subject on the internet.
"LOLcats" are image macros consisting of humorous photos of
cats with superimposed text written in a form of broken english.
The LOLcat meme gained much of its traction through the
weekly ritual of "Caturday" in imageboards and weblogs. "I Can
Has Cheezburger?" is the most famous weblog featuring
LOLcats.
 On June 12th, 2007, Time Magazine published an article about
the LOLcat phenomenon, reporting that a Google search for
“LOLcat” already yielded over 3.3 million results and that the
webiste I Can Has Cheezburger was receiving 200-500
submissions per day. On December 4th, 2009, Entertainment
Weekly ranked LOLcats as #99 in a list of the “100 Greatest
Movies, TV Shows and More.
