The Facts… <ul><li>Children are important to God </li></ul><ul><li>Children aren’t the church of tomorrow, they’re the church of today </li></ul><ul><li>God gives each child specific gifts and talents to be used for his glory </li></ul><ul><li>Children CAN be involved in ministry </li></ul><ul><li>You CAN NOT do everything by yourself </li></ul>

  4. 4. <ul><li>Preliminary Steps </li></ul><ul><li>List all the possible opportunities in your kids church or children’s ministry where kids can serve </li></ul><ul><li>Come-up with a name for your ministry team – something cool! </li></ul><ul><li>Clearly write out the purpose of your ministry team </li></ul>

  8. 8. <ul><li>Train your kids </li></ul><ul><li>Introductory training to the ministry team – 1 day training </li></ul><ul><li>Provide training for each specific area of ministry </li></ul><ul><li>Keep things simple to start with </li></ul><ul><li>Provide refresher training and celebrate what God is doing </li></ul>
