Managing self The Author GatheringAldous Leonard Huxley (26 July 1894 – 22November 1963) was an English writer andone of the most prominent members of thefamous Huxley family. Best known for hisnovels including Brave New World and awide-ranging output of essays, Huxley alsoedited the magazine Oxford Poetry, andpublished short stories, poetry, travel writing,film stories and scripts. Huxley spent the laterpart of his life in the United States, living inLos Angeles from 1937 until his death.Aldous Huxley was a humanist, pacifist, andsatirist, and he was latterly interested inspiritual subjects such as parapsychology andphilosophical mysticism.
