designed by Charles W. Moore with
Arbonies King Vlock.
It was originally opened in 1972 and was
named to honor James and Barbara Palmer
for their gift to support the museum.
Renovation on Sept. 15, 1988 was paid for
mostly by the generous donations of the
Palmers of $3.5 million worth of stock in C-
COR Electronics Inc., $2 million of which they
earmarked for the museum project.
In 1993 it reopened after a year of major
expansion and renovations.

The museum has very diverse exhibits and
it‟s good for people to open up their
minds to a new way of thinking.
some of the exhibits are constantly
changing so you could visit multiple times
and it would still be as exciting as the first
visit.
20. When should I visit?
Tuesday thru Saturday: 10am- 4:30 pm
Sunday: noon-4
Closed Mondays and some holidays
