Aims of this task:
In this unit, you have studied film, the fantasy genre and creative writing. You will
need to draw on this knowledge to create an engaging fantasy narrative.
Outcomes Assessed:

• Present a polished work using accurate spelling, punctuation, grammar and
paragraphing appropriate to the task
The Task
Write a 500-word narrative that includes features and conventions of the fantasy
genre.
Consider the following: Setting, Plot, Themes, Characterisation and Style
