2. DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
The Design Concept.
Information Technology is all about transmitting of information digitally in the form of data packets or data blocks
Data Block in data storage is determined by number of bits, bytes that is treated as transport unit elements corresponding to
the respective protocols. Just like bricks construct a house, these bits or bytes constructs a full meaningful item. So these
individual Data Block together can construct an image, a music or anything meaningful.

3. DATA BLOCK DATA VALUE
Each building block represents a data block and
each window as a data unit. And, collectively they
form a data packet that is transmitted
sequentially.

Each floor of the building represents a “bit” and
there are 8 floors in total signifying a byte.

4. THE ENTRANCE PORTICO
The inspiration for the entrance was derived
primarily from 2 iconic buildings:-
a. The Apple Store on 5th Avenue
b. I.M. Pei’s Louvre Pyramid.
The positioning of the cube was inspired from the
Cube Houses in Rotterdam, Holland on one of my
trips there.
The idea of the cube was to create an entrance to
the building. The entrance had to completely
different in material but having the same geometric
shape. Taking inspiration from the Apple Store and
Louvre that use glass cube as the entrance to the
buildings, our IT building also uses the cube for the
as the entrance portico
The cube will be made of glass elements supported
by metal mullions.

6. THE SPHERE
The sphere is multi faceted and symbolizes the
use of IT in different spheres of life. It can also
double up as the entrance to the parking in the
basement.
