Julian Opie portrait
For this portrait i used the pen tool to draw around my face and
my body. I did this in separate steps starting with my neck and
body then doing my clothes. After i did this i used the eyedrop
tool to select the colour from my original image i took of myself.
Then after i added all of my colouring in i added extra detail
around the image what included things like my eyes, nose etc. i
like my picture and think it is like Julian Opie. I like the block
colours and i like how it looks like what i set it out to be. The only
thing is that i don’t like the mouth. I like it looks like a monkeys
mouth and is too thin and long. To change this i would make it
more rounded instead of only having a little curve like it has now.
I also just noticed that there is a bit of my neck that i missed out
and didn't colour in what would need to be done. But overall i like
my piece of work and it has the effect i set it out to have and is
similar to the Julian Opie piece what is good.

Andy Warhol Pop Art
My Pop Art picture is rubbish and i could of done better on it. This is the first time i
used powerpoint and i should of took my time and added more detail as i think my
picture was rushed and looks scruffy. I used bright colours but I could've used the
brush tool more effectively to add detail in effectively. I also should of used
appropriate colours to the picture as I just used any bright colours and then put
them on any place on the picture.
Tracing and customising the work of others.
To trace the picture i had a big piece of paper with blue carbon paper above that
was the picture with the artist’s work on it. To trace it i drew over the artist’s work
with a pen what then came out blue on the big piece of paper. After this i scanned
it by going into photoshop pressing file then import, import images from device
then the scanner will come up and you change the resolution to 300 and press
scan and it will go straight into photoshop.

picture.
Evan hecox type picture
I don’t really like my evan hecox style picture i think it is a bit scruffy and messy. I
also don’t like the white floor that i did, however if the image is finished i could like
it as i like the bold block colours and i especially like the red building i done as it
stands out and is vibrant and bold.
Julian Opie artist research
Opie was born in London in 1958 and raised in Oxford. He graduated in 1982 from Goldsmiths, University of London, where he was
taught by conceptual artist and painter Michael Craig-Martin.
Opie emerged as an influential figure in the British art scene of the 1980s after producing a series of painted metal sculptures that
humorously combined loosely painted imagery with steel shapes.Portraits and animated walking figures, rendered with minimal detail
in black line drawing, are hallmarks of the artist’s style. His themes have been described as "engagement with art history, use of new
technology, obsession with the human body" and "work with one idea across different media". When asked to describe his approach,
Opie said "I often feel that trying to make something realistic is the one criterion I can feel fairly sure of. Another one I sometimes use
is, would I like to have it in my room? And I occasionally use the idea, if God allowed you to show Him one [portrait] to judge you by,
would this really be it?"
In 2010, the four-sided LED sculpture Ann Dancing was installed in Indianapolis, United States, as the first artwork on the Indianapolis
Cultural Trail. Opie has also created a monument to singer Bryan Adams. I like opie’s work as it stands out and is bold. It is also an
animated image of a portrait what is usually a picture that has just been took what i like. I also like the block colours as they are sharp,
bold and stand out.
Making an image out of dots or lines
Filter at the top
Then press command 0 to make it fill the page
Filter gallery then press sketch and choose halftone pattern to make it out of dots
or lines.
You can also change the size of the dots/lines and the contrast of them too.
Evaluation of my 2 images
My propaganda image is better than my Evan Hecox picture i think
as it is bold and more colourful. This is better as it brings the public’s
attention to the photo what a propaganda photo is meant to do. I
also highlighted the people in the photo with a bolder black line so
they stand out, i did this because they are the ones the poster is
about, they are the ones needing help as they need more money to
live on and they work so many hours to scrape the money they need
for food etc. They are asking for money from others to help them so
that is why i want around them to make them bolder and make them
stand out. I also like the Evan Hecox picture i have done as it add a
different effect being the line effect. Also i like the colours used as
they fit the image and they go well with what it is being used for to
colour in. I also like the colours as they are different shades of
popular colours and not as bright so is a bit unusual with the shades
used, for example the red used for one of the buildings isn't a usual
red it is a darker red and it suits the image well, but overall i think my
propaganda artwork has a higher impact thus is better in my
opinion.
Propaganda images
ggoo.gl/RPBX8Ooo.gl this is the link to the slides i
followed to make these to make the posters. I used
techniques such as clipping mask, magic wand and other
techniques like this to make the images. The first image
was easy to make but the second one was harder and i had
a couple of errors that i later got around. It would take me
a while to do the second one but i could do the first image
fairly quickly. I used shepard fairey's work to make mine
look similar with the colours and effects used. This gives it
a propaganda effect and a strong impact to the viewer.
3 Logos that show
positive and negative
energy
Apple
This is the apple logo I like this as it is a hidden message what hardly nobody
sees it, this could mean that is isn't that effective but when you see it the logo
message is in context and isn't just a random picture it makes sense to the
company being a technological company what specialises on mobiles so it is
effective when it is seen.
FedEx
This is the FedEx logo I like it as it uses simple text with colours that go together
and is easily readable. This logo also has a hidden message that is an arrow
between the E and the X. This is effective as the arrow is used as it is in context
with the company. It is in context with the company as the company delivers
packages from one place to another and an arrow shows a direction in what
something goes from one place to another, in this case it is a package going from
one place to the next.
Hope for African Children Initiative
This is the logo for a children's company in Africa. I like this logo as it is clear to read to tell what it is and it
also uses colours that link with the country what is different shades of orange what represents the
sand/desert and the sun in the country. The logo has multi purpose being a map of Africa and also 3
people presumed to be African. This is effective as it shows the country and also people what includes a
child showing what the company does what is look after kids in Africa. This is also effective as it is easy to
spot and shows the public everything they need too making them not need to use writing if needed as we
can tell what the company is about just from the picture what is good
9 Formal
Elements
First hand pictures
The print Book.
Japanese colour print
Tone
The print was the book that i got this image from. Tone is the shading and is the light and dark colours
used e.g. black and white. Tone is usually made from darker colours. I like this technique as it has a vast
range of variations so most artists who use this has different outcomes. For example if 2 different artists
took this image one could be really light and use mostly whites and light greys but the other artist could
use mainly dark colours such as blacks and dark greys to give2 different effects. I also like using tone as it
consists of shading and when you shade it brings the image out more making it more realistic and makes
the person look at it have that wow factor about the image leaving them thinking and wanting to look at
more of the artists images.
Colour
Japanese colour print was the book i took one of the images from. Colour images uses colours that are subdued, vibrant,
limited, complimentary, primary and secondary colours. I like this effect on artists work when it is used correctly to an extent.
For this i mean if an artist uses a unnecessary colour for something on the image that doesn’t fit such as a pink tree as i
don’t think it is true to life and i wouldn’t see that in real life as i like realistic artwork what has good validity. The only use of
this i wouldn’t mind being not true to life is pop art as it has a total different outcome and i think pop art shouldn’t be realistic
so it gives a better outcome as it looks more unusual and looks better with random bright colours. Colours give artwork that
finishing touch it needs if not using toning. This makes the image more vibrant and stand out more and lifts the image off the
page to bring the public's attention to that piece of artwork and when used correctly such as using the correct colours and
colour density it really makes the public think wow about that piece of work and that another reason i love colour when used
correctly.
Point
Point artwork consists of dots or individual marks. This is a very good effect when
using pop art and especially portraits of people what usually consists of animated
drawings or comic drawings. I like the point effect as it is a lengthy effect on
drawing what i respects as i would lose my temper, get frustrated and annoyed
when using this technique. Point effect is usually done in colour and is built up
with a lot of dots or individual marks to build up the detail needed for the image,
and that's another reason i like this effect as it uses a lot of detail so you can tell
what the image is quickly and it is realistic in a animated way.
Line
Line is where a picture is built up with many lines. These can be short, long,
horizontal, vertical and wavy line. These are usually used in portraits or pictures of
animals and this is where it is more effective. I like the line effect as it uses intense
detail and can be very effective if used appropriately.
Shape (2D)
The use of shapes is effective in images that are not as detailed. When used
appropriately this formal element is my favourite for example the statue of liberty
image that uses this effect with mainly triangles is very powerful and looks like the
image it is meant too but that is only as they haven't went into too much detail and
have used appropriate shapes for example if they used circles it wouldn't be
effective and would look stupid.
Form (3D)
I don't like formal pictures, I don't like them as they are messy and often don't work
well. Formal pictures is 3D imaging what pops out of the screen they are often
used with colours but can be used with shadows instead
Pattern
Patterns are used in pictures to make them more unique and follow a style and
add texture to the picture. Patterns use a vary of colour and stick to a colour
theme throughout. I don't really like using patterns as you need to keep them
precise and the same throughout instead of changing it and I prefer making my
own versions of work instead of sticking to a same pattern
Texture
Texture is having effects on top of images to make them pop out more to bring the
attention of the viewer this can be of adding wallpaper like paper on top of an
image etc. I don't like using texture on work as I think it makes it scruffy and
makes it stand out too much for me I also don't like making a mess and sticking
things on what are annoying and small things to stick on
Composition
Composition is the equivalent of using levels on photoshop. It is usually the tone
and black and white on a picture. I like using this on things like buildings to add
shade to make the photo pop out, this is the element I would use the most.
Typography (Fonts)
There is 4 main types of typography, these categories are serif, sans serif, script
and decorative. The meanings of these are:
Sans serif - no flicks just normal writing.
Serif - with flicks on the ends of the letters.
Script - anything that is hand drawn could be used with any
material from a fountain pen to chalk as long as it looks hand drawn.
Decorative - anything that isn’t of the above and looks fun usually
has a unique text font too it.
Font Families
A font families is the same type of font with different options to it. These options
are usually Regular, Bold, Italic, Demibold or Semibold. The can be used to fit a
certain purpose such as on a poster and saves you time from putting italics or
boldness on the text what makes it quicker and easier to type. My example of this
was the Lucida Sans family.
Tracking and kerning
Tracking adjusts gaps across words/sentences.
Kerning adjusts gaps between individual letters
On the character panel this is shown
in these 2 buttons.
The one of the left is kerning and the
one on the right is tracking that goes
from -200 to 200 depending on the
spacing but to use the kerning you
need to press in between 2 letters you
want a gap between instead of
highlighting the full words.
Leading
Leading is the space between the lines. This is used if you want to bunch words
together or if you want to spread words apart. This is usually used on posters to
highlight an effect.
It is located here in the
window.
Hierarchy
Hierarchy is the order we see the words in a text or on screen. This can be changed to what word we see
first when turning a page to draw our attention to that point. This is usually done by changing the text size,
colour, boldness and other aspects like that from the other text on the page. I done a poster showing this
in which i changed the colour of the important words what was 3 on this poster, i changed the boldness of
the quote maker what was Thomas Edison and i changed the boldness and size of the title. Some words i
changed the font to regular and boring so it doesn't stand out as much and i also changed the size of
words to show impact on the word in this case it was the word “one”. I put all of this on a black background
so it was clear, crisp and easier to read.
Poster for council
My custom poster is made for a nature walk for the community. It has vibrant
colours in it what is good as it stands out and it is also good as it holds all
information needed for a poster but overall i think it doesn't have any good effects
or stand out as much as i wish so i don't like it overall.

infographic_780572.htm#term=infographics&page=1&position=1
This is a good infographic as it shows different steps what is easy to
follow, this is also a good infographic as it uses a range of pictures
showing what's happening, a range of bright colours that attracts
attention, all information needed and also charts. This is good as it
stands out and shows everything that it needs too.
http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/50-informative-and-well-
designed-infographics/
This is a good infographic as it shows instant
comparison, It also has a good and simple layout that
is easy to follow and read. It has appropriate images
and colours for that company and it is also bright so it
stands out, the writing is also split up into little
paragraphs so it doesn't look like as much to read and
it also is split up so is easy to follow.
http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/50-informative-
and-well-designed-infographics/
This is a good infographic as it breaks down the image
and shows clearly what part it is talking about. It has a
big picture in the middle what shows what it is talking
about in a whole then has arrows with the part of the
picture they are talking about in big so it is easy to read
and easy to follow what part they are talking about. This
infographic also has appropriate colours to fit in with the
theme and also has the writing spread out.
http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/50-informative-and-well-
designed-infographics/
This infographic is good as it hardly has any
text and shows what they are saying in a
picture. The picture is big and bold and has
appropriate colours. It has data in the style of
sea level and how many metres down they
are going to go, it also shows their current
progress and there aim to be at the end of
this. It has a little text but not too much what is
good as the reader doesn't get bored.
http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/50-informative-
and-well-designed-infographics/
This is a good because it is very colourful and is all in
a big shape in the middle making it stand out. There is
different shades of each colour what specifies the
groups what is good as it is easy to see a group for
example blog is different shades of purple. This
infographic also has writing saying what part is what
and it also it has images or logos of the social websites
what is good as people would notice what group it is
under.
http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/50-informative-and-
well-designed-infographics/
This is a good infographic as it has the same colour
scheme throughout, this is also good as the colour is a
strong red and also a blood red so it stands out and it
shows what the poster is trying to stay, it has man
images showing what it is talking about but the text is
squashed in my opinion and not that easy to read what
is bad.
http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/50-informative-and-well-
designed-infographics/
This is a good infographic as it
can be easily spotted by all as it
is on a large aircraft and it also
has a good colour scheme being
green and white so everyone can
see it, as well as this it has
arrows pointing to where it is
saying something is and the text
is big and bold making it easily
noticeable and so people know
what components are in an
aircraft.
http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/50-informative-
and-well-designed-infographics/
This is a good infographic as it is
in a traditional snake and ladder
style so it is easy to follow and
everyone knows what it is,
however the writing is squashed
and there isn't much there saying
what it is about.

  • 7. Julian Opie portrait For this portrait i used the pen tool to draw around my face and my body. I did this in separate steps starting with my neck and body then doing my clothes. After i did this i used the eyedrop tool to select the colour from my original image i took of myself. Then after i added all of my colouring in i added extra detail around the image what included things like my eyes, nose etc. i like my picture and think it is like Julian Opie. I like the block colours and i like how it looks like what i set it out to be. The only thing is that i don’t like the mouth. I like it looks like a monkeys mouth and is too thin and long. To change this i would make it more rounded instead of only having a little curve like it has now. I also just noticed that there is a bit of my neck that i missed out and didn't colour in what would need to be done. But overall i like my piece of work and it has the effect i set it out to have and is similar to the Julian Opie piece what is good.

Once selected you can press where you want the text to start and then you type whatever you want to put on your work. You can change the size and font at the top but if you press window then text it comes up with a window on the right where it gives you the option to change size, font and colour, also it has the option to centre your text or put it to the left or right and it also gives you the choice to bold the text, underline the text and features like that.
  • 14. Andy Warhol Pop Art My Pop Art picture is rubbish and i could of done better on it. This is the first time i used powerpoint and i should of took my time and added more detail as i think my picture was rushed and looks scruffy. I used bright colours but I could've used the brush tool more effectively to add detail in effectively. I also should of used appropriate colours to the picture as I just used any bright colours and then put them on any place on the picture.
  • 15. Tracing and customising the work of others. To trace the picture i had a big piece of paper with blue carbon paper above that was the picture with the artist’s work on it. To trace it i drew over the artist’s work with a pen what then came out blue on the big piece of paper. After this i scanned it by going into photoshop pressing file then import, import images from device then the scanner will come up and you change the resolution to 300 and press scan and it will go straight into photoshop.
  • 16. Scanning Go into photoshop pressing file then import, import images from device then the scanner will come up and you change the resolution to 300 and press scan and it will go straight into photoshop.
  • 17. Clipping mask Add a layer and put that new layer in the middle so it is picture, new layer then background. Then press alt between the picture and the new layer and click Then with a small brush start brushing in spirals.
  • 18. Layer blend Have 2 layers one image and the background Make sure the background is at the bottom and then press where it says normal and change it to multiply Then use the brush to put colours on the background and it will show on the picture.
  • 19. Evan hecox type picture I don’t really like my evan hecox style picture i think it is a bit scruffy and messy. I also don’t like the white floor that i did, however if the image is finished i could like it as i like the bold block colours and i especially like the red building i done as it stands out and is vibrant and bold.
  • 20. Julian Opie artist research Opie was born in London in 1958 and raised in Oxford. He graduated in 1982 from Goldsmiths, University of London, where he was taught by conceptual artist and painter Michael Craig-Martin. Opie emerged as an influential figure in the British art scene of the 1980s after producing a series of painted metal sculptures that humorously combined loosely painted imagery with steel shapes.Portraits and animated walking figures, rendered with minimal detail in black line drawing, are hallmarks of the artist’s style. His themes have been described as "engagement with art history, use of new technology, obsession with the human body" and "work with one idea across different media". When asked to describe his approach, Opie said "I often feel that trying to make something realistic is the one criterion I can feel fairly sure of. Another one I sometimes use is, would I like to have it in my room? And I occasionally use the idea, if God allowed you to show Him one [portrait] to judge you by, would this really be it?" In 2010, the four-sided LED sculpture Ann Dancing was installed in Indianapolis, United States, as the first artwork on the Indianapolis Cultural Trail. Opie has also created a monument to singer Bryan Adams. I like opie’s work as it stands out and is bold. It is also an animated image of a portrait what is usually a picture that has just been took what i like. I also like the block colours as they are sharp, bold and stand out.
  • 21. Making an image out of dots or lines Filter at the top Then press command 0 to make it fill the page Filter gallery then press sketch and choose halftone pattern to make it out of dots or lines. You can also change the size of the dots/lines and the contrast of them too.
  • 22. Evaluation of my 2 images My propaganda image is better than my Evan Hecox picture i think as it is bold and more colourful. This is better as it brings the public’s attention to the photo what a propaganda photo is meant to do. I also highlighted the people in the photo with a bolder black line so they stand out, i did this because they are the ones the poster is about, they are the ones needing help as they need more money to live on and they work so many hours to scrape the money they need for food etc. They are asking for money from others to help them so that is why i want around them to make them bolder and make them stand out. I also like the Evan Hecox picture i have done as it add a different effect being the line effect. Also i like the colours used as they fit the image and they go well with what it is being used for to colour in. I also like the colours as they are different shades of popular colours and not as bright so is a bit unusual with the shades used, for example the red used for one of the buildings isn't a usual red it is a darker red and it suits the image well, but overall i think my propaganda artwork has a higher impact thus is better in my opinion.
  • 23. Propaganda images ggoo.gl/RPBX8Ooo.gl this is the link to the slides i followed to make these to make the posters. I used techniques such as clipping mask, magic wand and other techniques like this to make the images. The first image was easy to make but the second one was harder and i had a couple of errors that i later got around. It would take me a while to do the second one but i could do the first image fairly quickly. I used shepard fairey's work to make mine look similar with the colours and effects used. This gives it a propaganda effect and a strong impact to the viewer.
  • 24. 3 Logos that show positive and negative energy
  • 25. Apple This is the apple logo I like this as it is a hidden message what hardly nobody sees it, this could mean that is isn't that effective but when you see it the logo message is in context and isn't just a random picture it makes sense to the company being a technological company what specialises on mobiles so it is effective when it is seen.
  • 26. FedEx This is the FedEx logo I like it as it uses simple text with colours that go together and is easily readable. This logo also has a hidden message that is an arrow between the E and the X. This is effective as the arrow is used as it is in context with the company. It is in context with the company as the company delivers packages from one place to another and an arrow shows a direction in what something goes from one place to another, in this case it is a package going from one place to the next.
  • 27. Hope for African Children Initiative This is the logo for a children's company in Africa. I like this logo as it is clear to read to tell what it is and it also uses colours that link with the country what is different shades of orange what represents the sand/desert and the sun in the country. The logo has multi purpose being a map of Africa and also 3 people presumed to be African. This is effective as it shows the country and also people what includes a child showing what the company does what is look after kids in Africa. This is also effective as it is easy to spot and shows the public everything they need too making them not need to use writing if needed as we can tell what the company is about just from the picture what is good
  • 29. First hand pictures The print Book. Japanese colour print
  • 30. Tone The print was the book that i got this image from. Tone is the shading and is the light and dark colours used e.g. black and white. Tone is usually made from darker colours. I like this technique as it has a vast range of variations so most artists who use this has different outcomes. For example if 2 different artists took this image one could be really light and use mostly whites and light greys but the other artist could use mainly dark colours such as blacks and dark greys to give2 different effects. I also like using tone as it consists of shading and when you shade it brings the image out more making it more realistic and makes the person look at it have that wow factor about the image leaving them thinking and wanting to look at more of the artists images.
  • 31. Colour Japanese colour print was the book i took one of the images from. Colour images uses colours that are subdued, vibrant, limited, complimentary, primary and secondary colours. I like this effect on artists work when it is used correctly to an extent. For this i mean if an artist uses a unnecessary colour for something on the image that doesn’t fit such as a pink tree as i don’t think it is true to life and i wouldn’t see that in real life as i like realistic artwork what has good validity. The only use of this i wouldn’t mind being not true to life is pop art as it has a total different outcome and i think pop art shouldn’t be realistic so it gives a better outcome as it looks more unusual and looks better with random bright colours. Colours give artwork that finishing touch it needs if not using toning. This makes the image more vibrant and stand out more and lifts the image off the page to bring the public's attention to that piece of artwork and when used correctly such as using the correct colours and colour density it really makes the public think wow about that piece of work and that another reason i love colour when used correctly.
  • 32. Point Point artwork consists of dots or individual marks. This is a very good effect when using pop art and especially portraits of people what usually consists of animated drawings or comic drawings. I like the point effect as it is a lengthy effect on drawing what i respects as i would lose my temper, get frustrated and annoyed when using this technique. Point effect is usually done in colour and is built up with a lot of dots or individual marks to build up the detail needed for the image, and that's another reason i like this effect as it uses a lot of detail so you can tell what the image is quickly and it is realistic in a animated way.
  • 33. Line Line is where a picture is built up with many lines. These can be short, long, horizontal, vertical and wavy line. These are usually used in portraits or pictures of animals and this is where it is more effective. I like the line effect as it uses intense detail and can be very effective if used appropriately.
  • 34. Shape (2D) The use of shapes is effective in images that are not as detailed. When used appropriately this formal element is my favourite for example the statue of liberty image that uses this effect with mainly triangles is very powerful and looks like the image it is meant too but that is only as they haven't went into too much detail and have used appropriate shapes for example if they used circles it wouldn't be effective and would look stupid.
  • 35. Form (3D) I don't like formal pictures, I don't like them as they are messy and often don't work well. Formal pictures is 3D imaging what pops out of the screen they are often used with colours but can be used with shadows instead
  • 36. Pattern Patterns are used in pictures to make them more unique and follow a style and add texture to the picture. Patterns use a vary of colour and stick to a colour theme throughout. I don't really like using patterns as you need to keep them precise and the same throughout instead of changing it and I prefer making my own versions of work instead of sticking to a same pattern
  • 37. Texture Texture is having effects on top of images to make them pop out more to bring the attention of the viewer this can be of adding wallpaper like paper on top of an image etc. I don't like using texture on work as I think it makes it scruffy and makes it stand out too much for me I also don't like making a mess and sticking things on what are annoying and small things to stick on
  • 38. Composition Composition is the equivalent of using levels on photoshop. It is usually the tone and black and white on a picture. I like using this on things like buildings to add shade to make the photo pop out, this is the element I would use the most.
  • 39. Typography (Fonts) There is 4 main types of typography, these categories are serif, sans serif, script and decorative. The meanings of these are: Sans serif - no flicks just normal writing. Serif - with flicks on the ends of the letters. Script - anything that is hand drawn could be used with any material from a fountain pen to chalk as long as it looks hand drawn. Decorative - anything that isn’t of the above and looks fun usually has a unique text font too it.
  • 40. Font Families A font families is the same type of font with different options to it. These options are usually Regular, Bold, Italic, Demibold or Semibold. The can be used to fit a certain purpose such as on a poster and saves you time from putting italics or boldness on the text what makes it quicker and easier to type. My example of this was the Lucida Sans family.
  • 41. Tracking and kerning Tracking adjusts gaps across words/sentences. Kerning adjusts gaps between individual letters On the character panel this is shown in these 2 buttons. The one of the left is kerning and the one on the right is tracking that goes from -200 to 200 depending on the spacing but to use the kerning you need to press in between 2 letters you want a gap between instead of highlighting the full words.
  • 42. Leading Leading is the space between the lines. This is used if you want to bunch words together or if you want to spread words apart. This is usually used on posters to highlight an effect. It is located here in the window.
  • 43. Hierarchy Hierarchy is the order we see the words in a text or on screen. This can be changed to what word we see first when turning a page to draw our attention to that point. This is usually done by changing the text size, colour, boldness and other aspects like that from the other text on the page. I done a poster showing this in which i changed the colour of the important words what was 3 on this poster, i changed the boldness of the quote maker what was Thomas Edison and i changed the boldness and size of the title. Some words i changed the font to regular and boring so it doesn't stand out as much and i also changed the size of words to show impact on the word in this case it was the word “one”. I put all of this on a black background so it was clear, crisp and easier to read.
  • 44. Poster for council My custom poster is made for a nature walk for the community. It has vibrant colours in it what is good as it stands out and it is also good as it holds all information needed for a poster but overall i think it doesn't have any good effects or stand out as much as i wish so i don't like it overall.

  • 49. Examples http://www.freepik.com/free-vector/business-steps- infographic_780572.htm#term=infographics&page=1&position=1 This is a good infographic as it shows different steps what is easy to follow, this is also a good infographic as it uses a range of pictures showing what's happening, a range of bright colours that attracts attention, all information needed and also charts. This is good as it stands out and shows everything that it needs too. http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/50-informative-and-well- designed-infographics/ This is a good infographic as it shows instant comparison, It also has a good and simple layout that is easy to follow and read. It has appropriate images and colours for that company and it is also bright so it stands out, the writing is also split up into little paragraphs so it doesn't look like as much to read and it also is split up so is easy to follow. http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/50-informative- and-well-designed-infographics/ This is a good infographic as it breaks down the image and shows clearly what part it is talking about. It has a big picture in the middle what shows what it is talking about in a whole then has arrows with the part of the picture they are talking about in big so it is easy to read and easy to follow what part they are talking about. This infographic also has appropriate colours to fit in with the theme and also has the writing spread out. http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/50-informative-and-well- designed-infographics/ This infographic is good as it hardly has any text and shows what they are saying in a picture. The picture is big and bold and has appropriate colours. It has data in the style of sea level and how many metres down they are going to go, it also shows their current progress and there aim to be at the end of this. It has a little text but not too much what is good as the reader doesn't get bored.
  • 50. http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/50-informative- and-well-designed-infographics/ This is a good because it is very colourful and is all in a big shape in the middle making it stand out. There is different shades of each colour what specifies the groups what is good as it is easy to see a group for example blog is different shades of purple. This infographic also has writing saying what part is what and it also it has images or logos of the social websites what is good as people would notice what group it is under. http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/50-informative-and- well-designed-infographics/ This is a good infographic as it has the same colour scheme throughout, this is also good as the colour is a strong red and also a blood red so it stands out and it shows what the poster is trying to stay, it has man images showing what it is talking about but the text is squashed in my opinion and not that easy to read what is bad. http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/50-informative-and-well- designed-infographics/ This is a good infographic as it can be easily spotted by all as it is on a large aircraft and it also has a good colour scheme being green and white so everyone can see it, as well as this it has arrows pointing to where it is saying something is and the text is big and bold making it easily noticeable and so people know what components are in an aircraft. http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/50-informative- and-well-designed-infographics/ This is a good infographic as it is in a traditional snake and ladder style so it is easy to follow and everyone knows what it is, however the writing is squashed and there isn't much there saying what it is about. http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/50-informative-and-well-designed-infographics/ http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/50-informative-and-well-designed-infographics/ dg gr
