the fruit and vegetables. Look at the following prompts and
make the conversation with the shop assistant.

• You: Hello (or other greeting). Like/ kilo
potatoes.
3. • You: Hello. I would like (to buy) a kilo of
potatoes , please.
• Examiner: Sure. Anything else?
• You: And ½ kg/ strawberries.
4. • You: and (I would also like) half a kilo of
strawberries , please
• Examiner: Sorry, I don’t have any
strawberries left but I have some nice
cherries.
• You: Not like/cherries . (Ask for apples)
5. • You: I’m afraid I don’t like cherries. Do you
have apples?
• Examiner: Ok. Is that all?
• You: Yes. Price?
6. • You: Yes. That would be all. How much is
it?
• Examiner: That’s 7 euros
• You: Have/ bags/receipt?
7. • You: Can I have a bag and my receipt,
please?
• Examiner: Of course. Here you are.
• You: Not find/wallet. Can / leave shopping
here? Go home/ get/wallet.
8. • You: I am afraid I can´t find my wallet. Can
I leave my shopping here? I am going
home to get my wallet.
• Examiner: No problem. I’ll leave your bags
over here
• You: Time/shop/close?
9. • You: What time does the shop close?
• Examiner: We close in 40 minutes.
• You: Back/15 minutes
10. • You: I’ll be back in 15 minutes.
FIFTEEN MINUTES LATER
• Examiner: Hello again.
• You: Hi. Have/bags and receipt?
11. • You: Hi! Can I have my bags and my
receipt, please?
• Examiner: Of course. Here you are.
• You: (give money) Here/are.
12. • You: Here you are.
• Examiner: And here’s your
change.Goodbye.
