The FBA‘s academic members and students are involved

Upon successful completion students will be able to:
• explain differences between given theories of leadership and
motivation;
• apply leadership and motivation theories and critical thinking skills
when analysing problem situations in organization practice;
• discuss the benefits of knowledge of work groups and teams’
structure and dynamics regarding effective leadership and of dealing
with power in organizational leadership;
• apply teamwork skills in problem solving team tasks and in facilitation

Assessment of the final state exam
„Excellent“ – The student is able independently to demonstrate
global knowledge of the topic, he/she is able to discuss and answer
questions beyond the specific problem – in width as well as in
depth. He/she is able to demonstrate the skills. That is, the student
is able to apply theoretical knowledge while solving a case study.
“Very good” – The student is able independently to demonstrate
global knowledge of the topic. He/she needs support from the
examining committee just in one of the domains - knowledge or
skills one, e.g. in the form of an additional question or explanation
of certain part of the case study.
“Good” – The student is able to demonstrate knowledge of the
topic, however he/she needs additional or leading questions. The
student is able to apply theoretical knowledge while solving a case
study.
“Failed” – The student is NOT able to demonstrate knowledge of
the topic, neither with additional or leading questions. The student
is NOT able to apply theoretical knowledge while solving a case
study. (The student is not able to compensate the lack of
knowledge or skill within the other domain.)

Classes in foreign languages are mandatory for students of all fields. • Exchange programs with more than 250 partner universities all around the world. • The Master in International Management program (CEMS) - the FBA’s key postgraduate, pre-experience degree offered in English. • Within the CEMS Alliance, 32 world-class academic institutions collaborate together, only one business school per country can be a member.

The Faculty of Business Administration has, as the only faculty in the Czech Republic, the prestigious international EQUIS accreditation. This means the FBA ranks among the 1% of best business schools in the world. The CEMS MIM programme is placed among the Top 10 of The Economist Master in Management Ranking. Two of our programmes are regularly placed in the Financial Times global business school rankings. The MBA programme taught at the FBA is consistently evaluated as one of the Top 3 MBA programs in Eastern Europe. He/she is able to demonstrate the skills. That is, the student is able to apply theoretical knowledge while solving a case study. “Very good” – The student is able independently to demonstrate global knowledge of the topic. He/she needs support from the examining committee just in one of the domains - knowledge or skills one, e.g. in the form of an additional question or explanation of certain part of the case study. “Good” – The student is able to demonstrate knowledge of the topic, however he/she needs additional or leading questions. The student is able to apply theoretical knowledge while solving a case study. “Failed” – The student is NOT able to demonstrate knowledge of the topic, neither with additional or leading questions. The student is NOT able to apply theoretical knowledge while solving a case study. (The student is not able to compensate the lack of knowledge or skill within the other domain.)

Honors Academia is a high-quality education and training program designed for talented students who are interested in further developing their knowledge and skills in addition to their university studies. It is intended for students who have completed their third semester of bachelor studies at any university, who are also ambitious, goal-oriented, willing to improve themselves as well as acquire “extra” value to their education. The MBA for students program is organized in cooperation with one of the foremost Swiss universities, ZHAW Zurich where some parts of instruction are held. It targets students who have achieved a master’s degree and want to develop and broaden their education. The MBA program provides links between theory and practice, including excursions, classes in Switzerland and lectures by top experts from companies.
  6. This international accreditation attests to the high level of education at the FBA, which is in compliance with demanding international requirements. The main criteria are the reputation of the programme, the opportunity for career development, and salary in a graduate’s first job after graduation.
