What is meant by ‘music aficionados’?
A music aficionado is a person who is very knowledgeable and
enthusiastic about a specific type of music. A music aficionado would
make the effort to learn everything about their favourite artists/bands.
Primary Audience of my Artist:
Age: 18-34
Gender: Mainly a female audience with a small amount of male listeners.
Location: East London – (Cities)
Socio-Economic: Students in C2 or D, they take influence in their lives from their favourite
bands/artists, they may be able to relate to the lyrics and use the lyrics from songs for personal
identity.
Interests: Alternative music lovers that want to set themselves apart from the Mainstream. They are
Superfans who enjoy being different in everything they do. They tend to have a large online presence
and hobbies could include Gaming, Skating etc.
Ideologies:
• They reject mainstream culture and ideas but instead have more alternative views on life.
• Environmentalism
• Feminism and identity politics.
Fashion: Alternative style
• Frances Dresses
• Graphic T-shirts
• Oversized jumpers and t-shirts
• Leather platform boots
• Chain embellished tops and trousers
