2. -Alfred Hitchcock was a producer and an English film maker, although his most famous genre was thriller. He
used many different types of technical devices when creating his films because he liked to be unique. He used
the camera in a way which was supposed to mimic a persons gaze and framed shots to manipulate the feelings
of the audience :such as anxiety, fear and empathy.
-His stories are mainly about fugitives on the run from the law who are mainly alongside female characters.
-Many of his films have unexpected endings involving violence, murder and crime. He became a cultural icon
through cameo appearances in his own films, interviews and film trailers and is known as the greatest British
filmmaker as he directed more than 50 feature films in a career spanning six decades.

Alfred Hitchcock’s style was that he hardly did any writing, as he preferred to supervise and guide
his writers through every draft of work and script and incited to strict attention to detail.
Furthermore he preferred telling the story visually rather than verbally as he also drew up
storyboards in great details
