Silver Airways in May 2013. Pflieger
recently completed a contract with the
newly rebranded Fiji Airways, steering
the company from financial troubles to
$400 million in annual revenue in just

3. About David Pflieger

During his time at Fiji Airways, formerly
known as Air Pacific, Pflieger led a fleet
upgrade from B747 and B767 aircraft to three
new wide-body Airbus A330s valued at over
$600 million. He also made improvements in
employee relations, establishing a profitsharing and quarterly incentive program, and
introduced a comprehensive social
responsibility program. As a result of his
tenure, Air Pacific was twice recognized as
one of the “World’s Top 5 Small Airlines” by
Conde Nast Traveler magazine.

CEO Darrell Richardson, will join
