Ed Snook, the owner o the US Observer, has committed libel and slander against Deborah Swan. They have used her as the scapegoat, while using extortion, threats, and public humiliation as a way to silence Deborah and destroy any credibility. Why would they do this? Because Ed Snook has ignored what evidence Deborah collected and hired the Us Observer to help expose. Deborah has the proof of the corruption that has taken place against Charles Dyer aka July 4 Patriot. Ed Snook has claimed Deborah paranoid and a lunatic. This is the actions of Satin himself.

To Ed Snook owner of the US Observer:
During the past week I have learned about the article you published and the radio show you were a guest
on in April of 2013. This article and this radio show are defamatory and will inflict harm to my reputation.
Though you have a First Amendment right to state your opinion, and to criticize, but you do not have a
right to make false and defamatory statements against me. I am in a position as a “public figure” due to my
public support of Charles Dyer, which is self evident.
In accordance with ORS 31.215, I am required by law to request that you publicly retract your slanderous
and injurious article you published about me, and to remove the radio show you were a guest on. The
published article shows a level of vindictive behavior, hostility , along with your threat of destroying me
and having me put in prison. This threat from you to destroy my life and to make sure everyone in
America knows all about me, is self evident and causes serious deprivation and degradation of me.
My name and reputation along with my ability to conduct private or public business has been damaged due
to you. With discovering this information about your goal of destroying my life, this causes me to be
extremely fearful for my safety. I have protection under the Oregon statues against this type of behavior
and you are required to correct your actions.. The correction or retraction shall consist of a statement by
you, the publisher, substantially to the effect that the defamatory statements previously made. If it turns
out that your statements are not factually supported, you then are required to make a public apology
stating that you , the publisher, regrets the original publication thereof. The correction or retraction shall be
published in substantially as conspicuous a manner as the defamatory statement.
The following attached exhibits have been copied from your published article and taken from the the radio
show.
Please respond within the 10 days and send the evidence to prove that this has been corrected. .

2. EXHIBIT 1
EXAMPLE: the article states: “Swan continually raised money, allegedly to help Dyer with legal fees, etc., however
much of this funding was used to support her life on the road as she traveled around the country allegedly infiltrating
patriot groups and promoting her conspiracy theories.”
Fact: You have no proof of this and this is a total lie. This statement is only to create public hate and distrust in my
involvement and cast me in a false light.
EXAMPLE: You wrote , “One witness recently stated, “I discovered that Swan recently raised $1,900 for Charles that
he never received.”
Fact: I never raised more that 48.00 which went directly into Mrs. Dyer's Paypal account. There is no proof of this
false claim and accusing me of theft. The support group closes to the Dyer family destroyed the “Dollars 4 Dyer”
donations that I attempted to start. I can prove this by all my records I kept along with all the correspondence with
Janet Dyer and Amy Dyer. This entire statement is complete defamation and is to only create public hate and distrust
against me.
EXAMPLE: “Deborah Swan was serving time in prison and she was released early, well before she could legally be
released - she must be working for the feds as a snitch.”
Fact: I was never released early I served 2 full years. I was on 5 years supervised release and have my entire probation
papers to prove this. I was on federal probation for Bank Fraud from 2002 – 2007. My federal charge was not for
Cocain as your article states. This statement is false and shows defamation to only cast me in a false light.
EXAMPLE: “Her pattern throughout her roughly two years of allegedly “attempting to help Dyer” has been to get
next to his friends and family, start trouble by making false accusations against people and by attempting to make
herself look important.”
Fact: This has not been any pattern of mine. This statement by you again is to place public hate and cast me in a false
light. The help I was providing for Charles Dyer was collecting evidence to expose the corruption that has taken place
against Charles Dyer. I have never attempted to get anywhere close to the people around Charles Dyer's family. This
group of people you defend have always come against me and have destroyed all my efforts and what I have been
attempting to do to help Charles Dyer. This group has contacted my family members and made false accusations
against me. All of my involvement for Charles was by his request when he and I were working together. I have never
made any false accusations against any of these people. I have only shared what I am able to prove and this has been by
these people's own words and actions.
EXAMPLE “while all the time claiming that the “Feds” were following her, that her phone lines were tapped, and that
there was a great conspiracy against Dyer, being orchestrated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)”
FACT: I have the proof of the FBI following me by the pictures I took of their license plates and pictures of the Feds
when I was in my car while they had me surrounded . I also have the proof of the FBI tapping my phones by the notice
the FBI sent to me, which stated they were tapping my phones and my text messages. This warrant was ordered by a
federal judge. Once again your article is totally false and places me in a false light which only serves to discredit me
and all my involvement in the Charles Dyer case, and making the impression of me that all my claims are lunacy.
EXAMPLE: According to one US~Observer source, “An FBI agent attempted to file charges against Swan for
illegally taping him and he couldn’t get charges filed. The only answer I could come up with is that Swan has some
substantial protection from the legal system.
Fact-this again is another attempt to place me in a false light. This has nothing to do with “Substantial protection” from
the legal system. This has to do with the law and how it is legal to record phone calls in a “one party state”. The
ironic part to this is that the recorded conversation I made with the FBI, exposes the direct foul play that took
place against Charles Dyer. This shows the proof of the nation wide manhunt that took place without a lawful warrant
and without jurisdiction of the FBI. This was the reason I hired you, the US Observer. I wanted you to get to the bottom
of this and to make the FBI back out. Instead you have ignored this area of Charles Dyer's saga and instead declare me a
lunatic. I have a time line that was written by Charles Dyer himself about all the foul play the FBI has been doing
against him. I have recorded conversations of the FBI admitting that they do not have a warrant while they were

3. sending armed SWAT into people's private homes, searching to find Charles. I have over a dozen or more letters written
by Charles with the proof of the harassment the FBI has done to him and his family. This is not some “conspiracy ” as
you claim it was on the radio show. The source your referring too is the FBI Agent Ken Western out of Lawton
Oklahoma. The reason why the FBI are not able to file charges against me is because I have done nothing illegal. The
FBI should not be involved and they have zero jurisdiction. So your false claim that I have substantial protection ,once
again have defamed me and slandered my involvement to only cast me in a false and misleading light and to help create
a public hate and distrust against me.
Another Example: I have also been informed that her Pacer (electronic access to court documents) record has been
sealed.” The US~Observer will soon get to the bottom of Swan’s alleged federal protection.
Fact: This is again a twisted allegation to cast me in a false light. I have me entire federal file and can have it published
to prove what is inside my PACER record.
EXAMPLE” Swan began making false accusations against me to the point where she claimed that I must be working
for the “feds.”
Fact: I have never made false accusations against you. All I have done is allow the public to hear the conversations I
had with you. These conversations prove that you did a complete turn on me and you only told me what I wanted to
hear. This is not false accusations this is your own voice and actions. This is a way for me to counter all the false claims
you have made about me.
EXAMPLE: “Swan has filed false reports with the Oregon Department of Justice and the Better Business Bureau
against myself and the US~Observer. “
Fact: My reports were not false. I have a right to reach out for help if I feel like my consumer rights have been
violated.. On the radio show you made the claim “the reason Swan's complaint with the Oregon Department of Justice
was dropped is because the Oregon Department of Justice knows who I am and they know all about me. Since I have
“taken them on” before and I was able to get the complaint dismissed.” So according to what you have claimed, the
reason my complaint has been dismissed is not because it was not a valid complaint, it was dismissed due to your past
history with the DOJ.
EXAMPLE: “She even filed complaints with the same entities against me for Chris Mortenson”
Fact: I never filed any complaints for Chris Mortenson. This is a total lie. Chris Mortenson will be able to share the
truth about this false statement that you made to only place me in a false light and to create more public hate and
distrust.
EXAMPLE: “our investigation was literally ruined by Swan in that it became an impossibility to conduct any covert
investigation due to her use of the internet, where people being investigated were alerted about my work. “
FACT There is not any proof to show that I have ever ruined your investigation. This was never a covert
investigation and I can prove this by the public statements that the support team around the Dyer family were making
public statement from the very beginning when I first hired you. I have proof of my conversation I had with you about
the public harassment that I was getting, and you told me “not to worry” and “you would take care of it .” These same
people you have been defending are the people who started to slander me and claim to the public that I did not have any
contract with the US Observer. Nancy Genovese and Darren Wilburn told the public “if anyone wants to find out the
truth about who the USO has a contract with, they can call Janet Dyer and Ed Snook themselves.” This statement you
made only shows that you are attempting to make me out as your “scape goat “ and place me in a false light to create
public hate and mistrust.
EXAMPLE “I have been informed that Charles Dyer will no longer communicate with her”
FACT This is due to your article and by your lies about what I have been doing and telling Charles that I have ruined
any chance of getting him out of prison. You have made me your “scape goat.
Example: as for myself I have opened an investigation regarding both Swan and Mortenson, as I have acquired the
strong opinion that they are both completely dangerous lunatics.

on me, only proves that you are acting out of malaise and all your public slanderer an defamation has been deliberate
and intentional.

when I get done with looking into her that she is in fact working for the feds.”
EXAMPLE:“ She has protection I was told she had cocain charges in Texas and she got out of prison early and I'm
trying to confirm. I look at and accessing her, she works for the fed and she has been using the dyer case to feed herself
and run around the country and who ever she is working for giving them info and got them on the hook like she has
done Mortenson “
EXAMPLE:“she has the feds on the hook she is using the dyer case to promote herself and feed herself”.
EXAMPLE:“he was the primary and he was the one going over paper work and we tried to get swan to send us the
indictment and all the paperwork we needed to get the facts of the rape case is what I took on.”
EXAMPLE: “all she was sending us and the bulk of what she sent us was these videos and all kinds of different stuff
on the conspiracy and the FBI was trying to set Charles up and trying to get him. “
FACT: I have the proof of all the court documents I sent to both you and Loren. I also have the proof of you receiving
these emails. The conversation you had with me you told me that you and Loren had gone through everything . Not one
time did you ever tell me my information was a waste of time. I have the recording of you telling me Loren was
impressed with me.
Example: “so finally we one weekend , swan called me on a Friday and she caught me when I leave my office and she
caught me and I said hey Debby how are you and she said hello, and she kept saying hello and kept getting madder and
madder as she talked and I didn’t hear her and I'm saying hello well apparently she was having a break down or
something or she just could not hear me and she said you SOB your not going to hang up on me and all of the sudden I
heard a click. That
FACT: This entire claim is false and I have our conversation recorded which proves what happened. You threatened to
“give me a hard time” and called me a “whacked out Bitch” and kept hanging up on me. I never used any profanity.
EXAMPLE“I can see now that looking back Deb was pushing him to call me cause it wast long he would want to
argue about Deb Deborah swan.”
FACT: This is not true. Chris called you on his own choice.
EXAMPLE: Deborah Swan and Mortenson , she filed this for him,
FACT: This is a complete false statement.( See attached EXHIBIT 3 )
EXAMPLE: “SWAN put out an video with all this lunatic claims that I had taken their money and dropped their case”
FACT: This is not true. I did not put any claims out about USO. The proof of this specific conversation between Snook
has been uploaded on You Tube. (See attached EXHIBIT 4)
EXAMPLE “ here what they have done through all their internet activity, they ruined all my work in Oklahoma so I
may as well not even went there. I could of stayed home and they wiped out all the ground work.”

6. FACT: This is a false statement that contradicts a previous statement where you claimed that your trip to Oklahoma
was miraculous and you got just what you needed.

EXAMPLE: Deborah swan had uh turns out helped Chris filled out divorce papers to file against her and that swan
had even called her and told her to move out of their home and that she was moving into it.
