A tablet PC is a wireless, portable personal computer
with a touch screen interface. The tablet form factor is
typically smaller than a notebook computer but larger
than a smartphone.
A type of notebook computer that has an LCD screen on
which the user can write using a special-purpose pen,
or stylus.

1956- The first publicly demonstrated system using a tablet and
handwriting recognition.
1987- Apple computer started its tablet project.
2001- Bill Gates of Microsoft demonstrates the first public prototype
of a Tablet PC (Pen enabled computer).
2002- Microsoft releases the Microsoft Tablet PC.
2005- Nokia launches the Nokia 770 Internet Tablet.
2010- Samsung unveils the Galaxy Tab, running Google Android.
2012- Google unveils the Nexus 7,a 7-inch tablet developed with
Asus.
