• Linux Antivirus is an anti-virus toolkit for Linux System, designed for e-mail scanning
on mail gateways. It provides a flexible and scalable multi-threaded daemon, a command
line scanner, and an advanced tool for automatic database updating via Internet. The
package also includes a virus scanner shared library.
• FTP is the user interface to the Internet standard File Transfer Protocol(FTP). The
program allows a user to transfer files to and from a remote network site.
• The client host with which ftp is to communicate may be specified on the command line.

Using squidGuard for content filtering sites.
• The squid server acts as an intermediary between a Web browser and Web server. As a
proxy, it receives a URL request from the browser, connects to the server on behalf of the
browser, downloads content, then provides it to the browser. It also saves the content to
disk so it can provide it more quickly to another browser if the same URL is requested in
the near future. Generally, this leads to more efficient utilization of an Internet connection
and faster response times for Web browsers.
