1. Career Goals : My Career Essay
As a student of psychology, my career assessments test showed me many options for my career
goal path. For starters, my career interest profile results are broken into six main categories which
are: social, artistic, investigative, enterprising, realistic, and conventional. According to my results,
my career matches are as followed: preschool, primary, secondary, and special education teacher. I
am 28% social, 22% artistic, 17% investigative, 11% enterprising, 10% realistic, and 9% realistic.
According to my Phoenix results, the salary ranges in this area between $18,140 – $57,530. I
generally believed that I have a more noteworthy degree as a social person which ended up being
substantial. Individuals who are social likes to help individuals in instructing, giving a restorative
guide, giving data for the most part, avoids utilizing machines, devices, and animals to accomplish
an objective. Moreover, people who are social is awesome at teaching, exhorting, nursing, or giving
information; values people and dealing with social issues; and sees self as to be helpful, welcoming,
and dependable. My profession normally includes working with, speaking with, instructing
individuals, and causing or giving administration to others. However, my results also showed me
other community and social service specialist that also may be in my interest such as health
educator, youth counselor, and mental health / behavioral counselor. The profession that I had at the

2. Working At CPS: A Successful Career
Working at CPS would be a great career path for me because it would provide me with a meaningful
career where I can really help other.
A.The most challenging aspect of the career would be the human unpredictability however this
causes me to make sure I am always growing and learning how to better help others.
Working at CPS there will always be a aspect of unpredictability that to some degree will become
normal, but the challenging part is when the unpredictability has negative consequences on a case.
When you plan out how to help a child or a family and the plan goes askew that can affect the
outcome of the case. I think that will be the most challenging part is trying to factor these
possibilities. I understand that even that is not always...show more content...

help children and families in the metroplex. I have worked for some great companies, but they have
not been careers but jobs. I am ready to find a career where I will be there for a long time.
To have a successful career, one needs to be able to learn and grow. Professionally and personally, I
want to be able to continue to gain new skills and perfect the skills I already have. I want to be
challenged and pushed. While I have been able to learn where I work, I am no longer challenged and
things are very repitive. My goal for my career is that I while I have tasks that a repetitive, there will
still be aspects of my job that will challenge me and keep me learning. I know that this position at

Education is one of the greatest gifts you can give to yourself. No one can ever take your

entrepreneurs to transform the outlook of their societies through investment. Planning enhances
personal development, helps us to determine our strength, and enhances competitiveness and

Personal Development Plan Self evaluation is part of strategic learning through which we reflect on
personal abilities or potentials to prosper in life. My development plans are geared at seeing me
through my academic struggles in the career part of advanced practices. We are presented with
academic resources and opportunities which I should use for my benefit. I need to develop a
good culture of reading extensively, critically thinking about what am reading and how such
material is relevant to my career path. Another plan is developing a good art of academic
research and writing, formulating learning styles that are appropriate to my learning. I should also
develop the art of managing my learning environment and understanding how to write academic
papers. I should also be in the course of my study to develop the employability skill and prepare
myself for internship. Once I accurately develop these skills in the course of my study I would be
on the road to career success in advanced business practices.
Development Needs Analysis According to Asselin(2010, p.5), developing a good culture of reading
is part and parcel of any academic excellence in life. Throughout our studies we are presented with
resource materials that are relevant to our disciplines. This means that the materials

Nine years ago when I first joined faculty of engineering at Alexandria University, I would have
never imagined that I would apply for a Management PhD program one day. My dream was to
become an electrical engineer but another thing was perfectly destined and planned for me. It has
all started during my last year in the college. I was majoring electrical engineering and I took a

My academic goal is to graduate Argosy University with a bachelors degree in Forensic Psychology

motivation to achieve this goal would be intrinsic. I love asking questions and knowing the answers
as to why people do what they do, and in a criminals case, what led them to committing the crime.
This goal, however, may have some extrinsic motivation as well. Being knowledgeable about certain
behaviors that criminals poses may help solve or even prevent a crime. In addition, having a degree
will help open different paths in life, ones that may present me with greater job opportunities. My
attitude toward the learning process will help my achievement of each goal because I am eager,

According to Dubrin (2015), developing a career naturally requires some constitute of goal

my current position, there is no promotion potential. Rather than stay in a position where there is
