13. Connect the data logger PC
Using the software provided with the data logger,
start the data logger to begin recording data.
Place the data logger in the desired
location for recording
After the desired recording period has elapsed,
reconnect the data logger to the PC
23. ADVANTAGES
•Data Logging can be used in remote or dangerous situations
• Data logging can be carried out 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year
• Time intervals for collecting data can be very frequent and regular,
• No need to have a person present
• Data logging is often more accurate because there is no likelihood of
human error
24. DISADVANTAGES
•Equipment can be expensive for small tasks.
•If the data logging equipment breaks down or
malfunctions, some data could be lost or not recorded.
•The equipment will only take readings at the logging
interval which has been set up.
•If something unexpected happens between recordings, the
data will not be collected.
25. FUTURE SCOPE
•We can send this data to a remote location using mobile or internet
•Every single thing can be wireless by the use of zigbee
•Large database can be created.

26. With the help of data logger we can maintain all
records of different type of sensors monitoring and
controlling. Data is logging & the data is transmitted
to computer by serial port. Output is displayed on LCD
display& also sensor status is displayed on LCD.
