1. Ahmad is a single guy , his age is 27 years and he has 3 brothers and one sister
who their ages (Salem, 23 ; Ayman, 25 ; Imran ; 28 ; Anoud , 24 ) . One of his
brothers, died in a car accident. Ahmad was retired from the military after he had
a car accident which led them to do surgery on his back. It was difficult for Ahmad
to work again and he receives some financial help from a social community
organization. He has been addicted to drugs from 2 years after he drops out the
school since his parent's divorce and he meet groups of bad friend in his
neighborhood who bring drugs to him he was even good in school and he had
one friend who helps him . His parent was divorced when he was at age 16 from
7 years. Each of them started another family with other partners . He has strong
relation with his mother but his father has not cared about them and he is busy
with his new family which contain of 3 boys their age (Mohammed, 4 ; Hamad , 7;
Issa , 13 ) . When he was at 16 years , he same time live with his mother and
some time with his father because he has stressful relations with their
stepmother and stepfather because they abuse him emotionally . Since he is a
closet to his aunt Fatema and his dead brother who advise him many times to
stop abuse drug . He tries many times to stop abuse drug but he failed . Even his
father tries to support him after he negligent that he his son want help . Also, his
father wants to compensate for lost time because he neglected his sons for a long
time. His son refuses to take help from him now. Moreover, he is not attached
with his brothers or his sister except the one whom dead for 2 years. Most of the
time he stays lonely and he doesn’t have too many friends. All his brothers are
married expect him and his sister so they until now they lived with his brother
because his step father Omar who not treat him as one of his children but he
doesn't harm him. He has found difficult time one coping with his life. He has
tried to live a good life by changing his friends and also strength his faith through
praying and he tries to do good things but he still wants to change his life in better
way non of his family supports him except his father and his mother but he
doesn't accept that from them because the neglected him for a period of time
when he need them. Also, he has one friend that helps them to solve his
problem.

2. Recommendation :
o to improve programs and justify their long-term support.
o to enhance educational and health facilities for the prevention and control
of violence with combined awareness programs including non
governmental organizations through stake holders.
o There should be enough educational programs in all societies and cultures,
both for women and men at the same levels.
o There should be enough opportunities of employments and participation in
development in the country.
o Adequate emergency treatments with rehabilitative measures should be
provided.
o Awareness programmes should be conducted for both women and men. It
should be done by using the resources like nurses, doctors and
psychologists, working under governmental and non-governmental
organizations .This could easily be done either by direct or indirect
teaching. The direct methods would include teaching, counseling, or group
based teaching. Indirect methods would involve the use of media,
pamphlets, role plays, drama and talk shows
o there should be a training programme available for their capacity building
on politics.
o Government should develop recreational programs like family parks, and
other entertaining places where along with their family can enjoy and relax.
o Developing recommendations for enhancing services and community
response to victims of domestic violence who are traditionally underserved.
The role of social worker:
The social worker works to improve the lives of people. Domestic violence social
workers work with victims of abuse to deal with their problems and implement
lifestyle solutions.

3. o Social workers provide counseling and support through training programs
for him.
o individual counseling through private practice settings, for example, social
workers with clinical licensure may conduct mental health assessments and
offer social rehabilitation for clients.
o Social workers must develop adequate knowledge and skills to respond to
domestic violence, regardless of practice setting, in order to respond
appropriately to situations related to domestic violence.
Counclustion :
Domestic violence is prevalent on the world. The factors associated with domestic
violence are low-economical status , lack of awareness, lack of education for male
and lack of support from the government .In addition to domestic violence may
occur at the micro level, affecting one family at a time but it is also a macro
problem, calling for interventions at all levels of social work practice.
