4. A woman who has no fear of God, who is willful
and wasteful, and indulges her ease, will as
certainly ruin her family, as if she plucked her
house down.

To be a good wife and
mother is hard work.
It has never been a
life of ease.

5. A good woman will do everything she can
to strengthen her home.
Titus 2 4 That they may teach the young women to be
sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, 5
To be discreet (self-control), chaste (pure), keepers at
home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the
Word of God be not blasphemed.
But men, a good woman can’t do it by herself.

6. Titus 2 6-8 Young men likewise exhort to be sober
minded (sound mind; moderate). In all things
shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in
doctrine shewing
uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, Sound
speech, that cannot be condemned; …
Too many who should be men are wanting to live
like teenagers; spoiled teenagers.
They want to spend their time playing with their
buddies and their toys, instead of raising a family.

7. A good home is not a fifty-fifty deal!
A good home requires that both husband and wife
gives 100% of love and effort.

8. 2 He
that walketh in his uprightness feareth the
LORD: but he that is perverse (turn aside; depart)
in his ways despiseth Him.
People say they love the Lord with their mouth, but
prove that they despise Him with their behavior.
To turn aside from God’s Way and go your own
way is the very essence of perverse.

9. Since we are on the subject of family
tonight, trying to have a family contrary to God’s
Way
Is not only futile, it’s perverse;
It’s against God.
Dad is leading God’s Way,
According to Scripture.

10. God wants his children to have a happy family.
He teaches us how it’s done.
