  2. 2. Smog is nothing but air pollution. Smog is in fact a mixture created as a result of air pollution resulting from our activities and unfavorable weather phenomena (mainly fog). Colloquially, smog is a type of cloud that hovers over a city or village, especially in autumn and winter.

  6. 6. Some facts • The greatest amount of smog occurs in densely populated cities, in Poland it concerns, among others, Warsaw or Krakow. The development of smog is fostered by traffic jams, and most of them appear in large cities. As a result, dangerous dust from car exhausts gets into the atmosphere, and passersby have to inhale it. • In the most industrialized cities of China, such as Beijing, wearing an anti-smog mask for children and adults is a natural activity. It happens that lessons are canceled for safety reasons. On such days, visibility can be limited to ten meters! It should be added that China has been trying to reduce exhaust emissions for several years, and at the moment it is allocating the largest funds from all countries to improve air quality.
