Andy has been building his career around digital and social network marketing. He received his MA (1998) and PhD (2003) degrees on interactive advertising from Michigan State University. While digital marketing was still at its early stage, his dissertation featured a keen insight as it focused on the core traits of digital marketing communication rather than typical digital "advertising." The dissertation explained how the power of "user interactions" will change conventional marketing. It won the Best Dissertation Award from AAA (American Academy of Advertising).
