Ensuring Technical Readiness For Copilot in Microsoft 365
Jfbc new plant
1. JF BioCarbon Systems
• New Technology.
• A new innovative waste to energy system has been developed, tested and is now
ready for market. With a Global Quest for new energy sources and products, our
continuous process pyrolysis technology is leading edge for small to medium
sized renewable energy systems and can be a huge benefit to SE Asia’s palm oil
mills.
• The key to the success of the JFBC systems is the simplicity of design and ease
of operations. Once the plant is up to temperature using fuel oil or natural gas,
you simply load the feed bin, keep an eye on the temperature and charcoal, bio-
oil and biogas comes out the back end each into its own holding tanks. The fossil
fuel burners can now be turned off as the system is using its own biogas as
process fuel making the technology self sustaining and in a league of its own.
• Note; to make a 200TPD plant, we simply add two more sections on top of this.
2. JF BioCarbon System
• The heart of the JFBC patent pending system is the air absent retorts. In a continuous
process raw organic material of any kind is passed through the retorts and cooked into
marketable products. While some of the biogas is used to fuel its own process, on site gas
turbines or steam boilers can be fueled by the same gas. Variable speed drives give the
operator total control on product quality by altering the residence time of the feed stock.
The operator can also vary the percentage split between the bio-oil and charcoal by
changing the temperature. Higher temp will yield more oil & gas while lower will get you
more charcoal or torrified wood.
• Below is a 4 air absent retort unit with one water cooled condenser. Another condenser is
on the other side. One is used at a time so we can switch back and forth for cleaning
purposes. No plant shutdown is necessary when running a gas turbine.
3. JF BioCarbon Systems
• New Improved System.
• Our old designed plants were 12 ft. x 6 ft. and had only 12 inch retorts. New developments
have proven that we can greatly ramp up both the retorts as well as the reactor size.
• JFBC is presently designing a 200 ton per day (TPD) portable unit to be completed by
summer 2011. Because of this size, the system will be designed and built in three modular
sections to be bolted together once at a biomass material location. The total size of this
new unit will be 20 ft. long, by 14 ft. wide and 16 ft. high.
• With the bigger retort tubes, this system has been calculated to be able to process 200
bone dry TPD (24 Hr.) putting our new system in a league of its own.
• Note; This is our portable demo unit which is only 12 ft. long x 6 ft. wide x 6 ft. high.
• All new plants will be 20 ft. long to achieve the necessary biomass residence time.
4. JF BioCarbon Systems
• Unlike other pyrolysis systems that are unable to ramp up in size due to complicated
technologies, the JFBC systems, because of its simplicity can ramp up from 40 TPD to a
whopping 200 TPD while still using its very unique simple concept.
• Nothing changes except the size and input/output volumes greatly increasing the bottom
line.
• Due to this simple continuous process, more product per day can be realized with less
effort and to my knowledge; no other technology anywhere can make that claim.
Indonesia & Malaysia produce an enormous amount of usable biomass from the palm oil
industry. Non of this waste is classed as food product which should never be used for
energy production in any case.
5. JF BioCarbon Systems
• Global Opportunities.
• Several problems faces developed and developing economies today. How to meet today's
energy demands in an environmentally sustainable way. Energy is needed in all forms for
heating cooking and basic necessity for life. It is desperately needed now and for future
generations as fossil fuel will not last forever.
• A new commercial solution for sustainable energy can now address the industrial,
agricultural and municipal waste issues, while consequently creating clean burning
renewable energy products though a clean refinement process called slow pyrolysis.
• Although pyrolysis have been around for more than 5000 years, this innovative new process
is self powered, fully sustainable and emissions tested, proven to have zero opacity, and
almost zero impact on air quality during the refinement process.
• Stack emissions testing by a BC Government approved firm shows that the JFBC process
have less than a quarter allowable emissions while processing waste wood.
• NOTE; Any technology that claim, or promotes ZERO emissions are not truthful.
6. JF BioCarbon Systems
• With opportunities comes challenges. The world industrial organic waste problem is very
real. Water source contamination and air pollution are beginning to affect our quality of
life.
• Current disposal methods for industrial organic waste are both economically and
environmentally expensive
• With today's high energy prices and a global economic downturn, many industries that have
been the drivers of our economy are facing shutdowns and bankruptcies.
• Although our technology is classed as baby steps by many, they are steps, and steps in the
right direction. The end result by taking these steps will be new employment opportunities,
a start on the road to recovery all while dealing with a problematic waste problem and
producing new CO 2 neutral energy for future energy needs.
• Our global organic biomass must be utilized to make energy, run turbines and minimize the
use of fossil fuel. Above is biogas burning in our test burner which can be replaced with a
gas turbine.
7. JF BioCarbon Systems
• Next to crude oil, where is the greatest source of fuel for our future energy needs? You need
not look any further than your local garbage dump, factory and regular farms, logging &
sawmill operations, BC pine beetle wood and millions of ton of palm oil, sugar cane bagasse
as well as rice husks. To most this is a waste to be burned just to get rid of.
To JFBC this is a humongous “gold mine” of renewable energy possibilities. In an
Environmentally sound way, all of this material can be transformed into clean energy
products for generations to come. Every day a farm animal produces 10 lb. potential
renewable energy feed stock. Taking sawmill and logging into account, we can have
homegrown energy forever.
• Bio Oil from wood waste
• As well, oil from the Jatropha plant
• will be an excellent candidate for
• motorized fuel or biodeisel.
•
• Besides the obvious, you have car and truck tires which is a huge problem. Our new
technology can process these and recover all the crude oil used to make them. To make
plastic bottles and bags takes up 20 million barrels of crude per year. Why not recover this
oil as well?
8. JF BioCarbon Systems
• City & Municipal Opportunities.
• Big city's as well as small municipality's can all benefit from utilizing our unique pyrolysis
technology. Garbage or MSW can now be converted into energy instead of being buried
taking up valuable space.
• With one of our 200 TPD units we can produce between 5 to 7 MW of power. This is
electricity that Indonesia & Malaysia is in need of and the MSW is just there waiting to be
converted from “ Garbage to Gold”
• The charcoal and bio-oil can be used to fuel existing coal fired power plants, greatly
reducing our greenhouse gas emissions, while the biogas produced will make on site
electricity.
• Biogas (syngas) burner inside
• our reactor for process heat. Fossil fuel
• is only used for start-up.
• Biogas burners used by our system will further reduce greenhouse gas as the gas produced
is classed as CO2 neutral. In other words we do not add to our Global CO2 inventory like
fossil fuel does.

Biochar.
• New scientific findings now prove that charcoal in soil will enhance plant growth which opens up new
opportunities to grow more veggies at home, minimizing the pollution form planes, trains and trucks that
bring our fruit and veggies from half way around the world.
• Better still, they are now proving that biochar in soil will actually act as a carbon sink, storing CO2 in the
ground. This makes charcoal a triple benefit to our Global health, clean fuel, making things grow better and
a CO2 sink.
• One of the more interesting products we are working on is made from charcoal and dry cow manure.
• Our JF BioCarbon Charcoal Soil Enhancement product which has been analyzed and tested in a vegetable
garden with very positive results, with soils enhanced with our new product excelling in growth over
vegetables in ordinary garden soils. The manure is dried at 300C to kill any pathogens.
10. JF BioCarbon Systems
• For cities, activated carbon can be used in municipal water systems, aquariums and home
water filters. Active carbon from hardwood or palm nut shells will be the choice for these
kind of applications. For filtering manures and trace pesticides that ends up in our creeks
and rivers and eventually into the ocean where huge dead zones now are evident, active
carbon made from any biomass will work and must be used to try to curb this potential
environmental disaster that by all signs, have already started.
• Active filters for gray water can also be made to curb the dumping of waste water from the
house boat industry. The uses for char and AC are endless and must be taken seriously.
11. JF BioCarbon Systems
• Our mini refineries can be located where the waste streams are thus minimizing the need
to move low value biomass which is both expensive and polluting. Each 200 TPD unit can
develop 5 + MW of power while processing Palm Mill waste biomass. The gas produced from
processing manure, bio solids, MSW, tires and plastic is impressive and will up the MW
possibilities tremendously.
• Although 5 + MW doesn't sound like much for one plant, but times that with all farms,
sawmills, tire piles, Palm oil mills and wood producers across the Globe and you will have a
huge amount of green produced electricity and charcoal for power plant fuel, not to
mention the Biochar that will not only make our soils healthier, but help with GHG issues.
• With our technology, combined with wind and solar, we can become energy independent
from fossil fuel use.
• We are literally up to our necks in renewable energy feed stock, but up until now no one has
had the technology to utilize this biomass that’s just laying around waiting to become
energy. Be careful next time you go to the farm that you don’t step in an energy pie.
12. JF BioCarbon Systems
