Organisational Integrity and Values
Helping organisations to close the ‘say-do-gap’
• Equip senior managers to ensure that their organisation’s principles or values are
clear, relevant to the mission and understood in meaningful ways by each employee
• Support efforts to enhance organisational integrity — this means equipping
managers to discover choices and actions that are not aligned with agreed values, or
areas where organisational systems frustrate people’s attempts to do what they
promise
Our work:-
Website hub to showcase the work (public library of resources)
Primary research initiative on ‘integrity’ underway with an NHS Trust

Healthcare sector
Focused on the need to maximise the full potential of healthcare employees and to
protect their wellbeing – both of which rely upon employee engagement
• Our first major output of a toolkit is now nearly complete and we hope to be able to transfer it
on to the Engage for Success website in April
• The toolkit covers a wide range of issues to assist healthcare organisations and their employees,
namely: Business Case & Evidence; Strategic Narrative; Culture; Empowerment; Development,
and Leadership
We would love to welcome new members to the TAG, in order to help us further
improve the toolkit we’ve created, and to help us shape the next practical output that
we can create to support employee engagement in healthcare

Engaging Managers Hub
Aimed at anyone who identifies as a manager, in any sector, at any level, from the front line to the corporate
centre and everywhere in between. Anyone for whom success depends on being able to engage people
effectively.
Contents include:-
• ‘Employee engagement’ and ‘engaging managers’
• How to take ownership of engagement
• Guide to your engagement landscape and the drivers of engagement & disengagement
• How to enhance your approach and become an exceptionally engaging manager
• A guide to taking action and making change happen
Work is ongoing - driving toward a pilot stage in the summer of 2018.
We continue to explore how to best access manager’s across the board.
Your help in this area, and in the further development and testing of the Hub would be hugely appreciated!

Performance Management and Employee Engagement
Primary research in collaboration with Cranfield University & the CIPD
To understand:-
• The very different ways managers in highly and lowly engaged teams conduct performance
management conversations
• How this influences employee views about their work, manager and the company
• How the performance management policy is put into practise by different managers
The TAG presented findings from it’s first phase of qualitative research at the CIPD’s Applied
Research Conference in December
We are looking for organisations to participate in our next phases.
This could include interviews with managers, employees and HR;
the use of companywide surveys, the use of mixed methods or a collaborative research
approach.
