was seeking a project management system
that would standardize and automate business
processes to help manage their global capital
projects and real estate portfolio.
After careful deliberation, Primavera Unifier®
was the tool selected because of its robust lease
administration, budget and cost control, and
project management functionality. Enstoa was
hired to implement and increase the system
adoption by engineering and automating business
processes and integrating Unifier with the financial
system, Oracle JD Edwards. Enstoa’s proprietary
product for management reporting, Panoptra™
for Unifier, was also selected and implemented
to increase collaboration and visibility into global
operations. The Company knew that if they were
able to quickly record, access, report and review
these elements, they would improve project
performance.
Cost management was another area that this
Company wanted to improve as it’s an essential
element to maintaining the financial integrity
of any project, contract, or portfolio. With a
global presence, it was imperative that the cost
management tool could standardize the processes
across all regions. The cost controls capabilities
within Unifier enabled the automation of all cost
processes, including estimates, commitments,
spends, variances, forecasts, etc.
Enstoa also implemented Unifier’s Real Estate
Management as it addressed specific needs
that the Company was looking to track such
as lease payment terms, contacts, key dates,
clauses, tenant improvement allowances,
security deposits, and more. It also supported
the automatic creation and routing of lease
payments and dynamic task assignments with
notifications. The Company is now able to track
costs and expenses, associate lease payments with
designated cost codes, and roll them up to the
facility’s cost worksheet.
