1. Enabling HTTPS for Admin domain
Create domain using domain utility and check for the admin GUI console
There are two methods for enabling HTTPS using Domain Utility:
1.Generating and installing a self-signed certificate.
2.Using third-party certificates.
Edit the Enable HTTPS templete file as show below
Avaliable options:
SSC (Generate and install a self signed cetificate)
CSR (Generate and certificate signing request)
SRVC (Install a server certificate)

2. Execute the below command
domainutilitycmd -cmdFile <file> [ -domain <name> ] [ -usr <user> -pwd <password> ] [ -logFile
<filename> ] [-verbose] [-lang <locale>] [-help | -? | -h]
where:
domainutilitycmd – to user domainutility in command mode.
File-
Path of Enable HTTPS config file(EnableHttpsConf.xml).
domain- Name of the admin domain .
usr -
user used to login to admin (as specified during domain creation).
pwd-
password used to login to admin (as specified during domain creation).
logfile -
Specify the location to store log file for this command.
verbose- An optional mode when running a program that will display varying
levels of status messages as it is processing.
You have to restart your TIBCO Administrator for thechanges to take effect.

3. verify the admin url using https along with the host name and port number
Ex: https://hostname:8444/

4. Result is:
1.A Java Keystore (JKS) file is created in the directory<tibco_home>/administrator/domain/<domain
name>/SSL
2.The file server.xml, present in the
directory<tibco_home>/administrator/domain/<domainname>/tomcat/conf, is modified to use HTTPS.
3.The file index.js, present within the director
<tibco_home>/administrator/<version>/tomcat/webapps/ROOT,is modified to reflect the HTTPS
parameters.
