2. What did you learn so far in the course?
Technology is used as an aid in the learning process.
Using blogs, wikis and other resources it takes the
pressure of the teacher trying to teach everyone at the
same time.
Technology lets creativity to be had in the classroom
by students interacting with other students.
Technology is essential in the engaging, discussing,
analyzing, and evaluating process in the classroom.
3. How will you apply what you have learned to life practice?
Students need to use technology so that they can
interact with one another and create their own
learning communities.
Students need to be stimulated through video, audio,
and kinesthetic learning for higher achievement.
I will use podcasts, webcasts, wikis, blogs, and any
other new interactive learning tools that maybe
available to enhance the learning process in the
classroom.
4. If you had to explain this course to someone, how would you?
This course enhances computer literacy skills between
digital natives vs. digital immigrants.
This course helps close the gap of understanding the
digital world today.
This course raises computer skills above one’s basic
needs and exposes web 1.0 and web 2.0 for people who
are not aware of such things exist.
This course provides ways for distance learning to
occur and to enhance the collaborative work process
too.
5. How do you feel about this course?
I feel that assignments are scattered all over the place
on the web page.
I like this course it is the layout that makes it difficult
to follow and stay on top of.
I wish there was more time between readings or if they
were posted sooner, so that one could stay of top of the
material.
I like the fact that I was exposed to new internet
resources and that I have gained practical knowledge
with completing this class.
6. What is good about this course?
I love the fact that I able to take it with my three
closest friends at M.S.M.C.
I love seeing the written word of others.
Written words tend to have much more deeper
meaning and understanding, where reflection is
definitely occurring in the classroom.
I like seeing the reaction of others and how they
respond to new technology and new ways of learning
in the classroom.
7. What would you change about this course?
I think the Elluminate room needs to be worked on a
bit.
For someone to wait 20 minutes to talk and engage in
the learning process is quite difficult.
I would want all the assignments, readings, projects
and etc on the same page near each other.
When I try to find things to read for this class I feel
that this is a treasure hunt.
8. Mid semester feedback
The layout of the course assignments, readings and etc
have been extremely hard to follow as they seem to be
spread out all over Moodle.
I wish the readings were posted a lot sooner, so those
of us who wanted to get ahead could.
I wish the Moodle chat rooms did not freeze up so fast
and throw people out of their rooms.
I like the class overall, but some changes need to be
made for the next semester.
I really like working in small groups and hearing my
peer’s thoughts and ideas.
