Social media has become ubiquitous, with 4 out of 5 internet users visiting social sites monthly and billions of minutes spent and posts/videos shared daily. This level of engagement means social media is revolutionizing how people interact with brands, including employers. With social networks, the balance of power has shifted to employees and alumni who can influence perceptions of a company. To build a strong connected employer brand, companies must listen to social conversations, engage authentically and be transparent across recruitment, employment and alumni interactions.
