2. Camera
During the process I have had to use a camera to take pictures to
use in my magazine for the front cover, contents and double
page spread. I am very familiar with the camera so it was so
simple to use. Although it was simple to use it was difficult trying
to find the right scenery to use for my model that had a form of
association with the genre of my magazine, but I think with the
trial photos and a bit of practice I got this right and used the
right photos even though they were not to a standard that could
not be improved upon. To take my photos I used a Panasonic
Lumix DMC-FS35. This camera allowed my shots to be of a high
quality.

3. Computer/Laptop
I used I used the school computers and my Acer
aspire laptop to create my coursework . I used
these for my research and planning and the
construction of my magazine. I didn't learn
anything new about them during the process,
although I did learn a significant amount about
the programs and software's that I used.

4. Photoshop
The programme that I used to construct my magazine was
Adobe Photoshop CS6. The techniques I used that were
put in my work were techniques such as the lasso to
delete unwanted items on pictures to make the picture
look more appealing. I learnt new techniques from my
friend who taught me how to use the programme. With
the use of photoshop I felt I progressed massively with
use of it as I had never used it before. The difference from
my mock up to my final copies were massive and there is
visual evidence in the improvement I made. When using
photoshop I found out numerous of new things I was able
to do on the software which helped me dramatically
improve my magazine with ease

5. Blogger
I blogged all of my completed coursework on my
blog. I posted all of my planning and
research, my final copy and my evaluation. This
is my second blog I've used before. I have learnt
how to use it effectively and post sufficiently. I
used blogger to present question 4 in my
evaluation, we were told that we were alowed
to post one question as a standard blog post and
I thought that for me question 4 would be best
presented and understood as a blog post.

6. Animoto
Animoto is a programme that I used to create a
video for question 3 in my evaluation, it allowed
me to display images with text along side music.
This was put onto my blog, it is an easy way to
present and explain quickly and effectively.

7. Microsoft Word
Another programme I used was Microsoft Word 2007 to plan
and create the text for my article. This helped me as it allowed
me to make few errors as it auto corrected spelling and
identified grammatical errors this ensured that my article read
well with no errors and looked
as professional as possible with

8. Scribd
Scribd is a way of presenting a word document
so this is a very simple form of presentation that
I had no difficulty using and because I have used
it several times before so it is not new to me. I
used scribd to present question 7.

9. Prezi
Prezi was not a new form of presentation to me,
I was familiar with how to use and found it easy
and simple to use. When using it I also learnt
new things about it that I didn’t know I could do
whilst using it before which helped massively
when it came to presenting it. I used prezi to
present both question 1 and question 3.

10. Glogster was a form of presentation id never
used before and I was recommended to use it by
one of my peers and when I started to use I
quickly found it easy to use. It also looks neat as
a form of presentation and ties in with the
magazine concept as it looks like its presented
on a magazine page.

11. Slideshare
Slideshare was something completely new to me
that I had never used or heard of so I had no
idea how to use it. When I found out what it was
and what it did it was fairly simple and I found it
a great way of presenting. As this was
completely new I learnt a lot about it, what is,
what it does. I used slideshare to present
questions 2 and 6.
