Preface
• Now we are going to study a problem that is
glory, which is not easy to talk about, because we
can't see it, we can't touch it, and we have no
way to experience it directly. We can only
understand what is the glory of God from the
scriptures of the Bible, how can we honor God,
and what is vain glory? I hope this discussion will
further your spiritual growth.

Glory be upon Pharaoh and all his
host,
• Exodus 14:4 4 Then I will harden Pharaoh’s heart,
so that he will pursue them; and I will gain honor
over Pharaoh and over all his army, that the
Egyptians may know that I am the Lord.” And
they did so.
• Exodus 14:17 17 And I indeed will harden the
hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow
them. So I will gain honor over Pharaoh and over
all his army, his chariots, and his horsemen.

cover thee with my hand,
• Exodus 33:22 22 So it shall be, while My glory
passes by, that I will put you in the cleft of the
rock, and will cover you with My hand while I
pass by.
• Matt. 5:16 “Let your light so shine before men,
that they may see your good works and glorify
your Father in heaven.”

• Phil. 1:9 “And this I pray, that your love may
abound still more and more in knowledge and
all discernment,”

• 2Cor. 4:6 “For it is the God who commanded
light to shine out of darkness, who has shone
in our hearts to give the light of the
knowledge of the glory of God in the face of
Jesus Christ.”
• Psalm 50:23 Those who sacrifice thank
offerings honor me, and to the blameless[a] I
will show my salvation.”

• 1Cor. 10:30 “But if I partake with thanks, why
am I evil spoken of for the food over which I
give thanks?”
• 1Cor. 10:31 “Therefore, whether you eat or
drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory
of God.”

ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind
let each esteem others better than himself.”

the vessels
• Rom. 9:22 “What if God, wanting to show His
wrath and to make His power known, endured

prepared for destruction,”

the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy,
which He had prepared beforehand for glory,”

the glory of God,”
