5. Flordika
Crossing of ´Discovery´ x
´Florina´. Cultivar is resistant to
scab and tolerant to powdery
mildew. Trees are precocious;
their cropping is sufficient and
regular. Fruits are medium in size
(155 g), round and regular.
Ground colour is creamy yellow,
up to 95% is covered by crimson
red over colour. Flesh is fine, crisp
and juicy. Taste is very good - sub
acid to sweet. Harvest is at the
end of September and consume
season from November till
February.
6. Frosta
´Florina´ x A 814/9 (‘Cox Orange’
x A 467-74). Cultivar is resistant
to scab and partly resistant to
powdery mildew. Fruits are large,
conical. The ground colour is
green yellow. Over colour is
orange to scarlet spread on the
51-75 % of fruit (mottled
pattern). Taste is very good, sub-
acid to sweet. Fruit resistance to
bruising is high. The harvest time
is late. Eating maturity is late
similar to Golden Delicious.
7. Rucla
´Clivia´ x ´Rubin´. It is a type of
´Cox Orange´ apple with better
resistance to diseases and phys.

longer storage ability of fruits. Trees
are precocious; their cropping is
sufficient and regular. Fruits have
medium size and their shape is
globose to globose conical. Ground-
colour of skin is green to yellow,
with 60 to 90 % covered by crimson
to brown red over-colour. Flesh is
fine, crisp, juicy. Taste is well
balanced, with a pleasant flavour,
excellent. Time of ripening is 1 week
before ´Golden Delicious´ and fruits
keep well till May or longer.
