Decarbonize industry by developing a French electrolysis industry; 2. Developing heavy mobility with low-carbon hydrogen; 3. Supporting research, innovation and the development of skills to promote the uses of tomorrow.  Role of regulation Example of Hydrogen For the point 3, here are some examples of new uses of hydrogen • Hydrogen in energy networks: hydrogen can be used to facilitate the deployment of renewable energydeployment of renewable energies by improving the stability of energy networks; • New uses in industry: the use of decarbonized hydrogen can be integrated into certain industrial processes to reduce CO2 emissions. For example, hydrogen could be used in the iron and steel industry to reduce iron or in the chemical industry for the manufacture of fertilizers; • The heavy mobility of tomorrow: this is the case for decarbonized planes and ships. The use of hydrogen in these sectors could be the subject of demonstrators; • Tomorrow's H2 infrastructures: hydrogen represents a definite potential in the medium term for the decarbonization of the gas sector (liquid H2, reuse in the gas network). • Regulation can help developing these innovative technologies • Innovative technologies can help promoting new regulations
