2. What Is Being Done Around The
World To Protect Coral Reef
Ecosystems?
Introduction
Coral reefs are structures made of limestone.
What is being done?
In 1998 the USA president created a task force to
protect coral reefs. This task force researched the most
destructive cases of losing Coral and minor. This task
force also works with private Government and other
Coral reef saving Task Forces.

3. Does The Uk Have Coral Reef
Ecosystems?
• The UK has shallow water coral reef eco systems. These
Coral Reefs survive in the cold water of the British
channel. These Coral Reefs are in Scotland. However,
these beautiful Ecosystems will be gone by the end of the
century. As we have create more pollution, the Corals’
exoskeletons are not being able to be rebuilt. This will
eventually lead to complete extermination of Coral Reef
Ecosystems.
