As a full-time faculty member with NEU's Graduate School of Education, I teach courses on Education as an Advanced Field of Study, How People Learn, and Open Learning. I am also lead faculty for the M.Ed. program concentration in eLearning and Instructional Design and a second reader in the Ed.D. program. I received the 2014 NEU Teaching Excellence award, 2013 Sloan-C Learning Effectiveness award, and serve on the AAEEBL Board of Trustees. From 2003-10, at Simmons College, I directed the Blended Learning Initiative, taught oral history and instructional design for the Graduate School of Library and Information Science, and ultimately became Simmons' Interim Director of Academic Technology.
