1. Kampung Senang 12th Anniversary Celebration Essay Competition
Showcase your thoughts, ideas or stories of Happy Family and Filial Piety by entering our essay
competition. This competition is held for students, designed to encourage and develop student
writers as well as promoting Filial Piety culture.
The theme for Kampung Senang 12th Anniversary Celebration (9 Oct 2011) essay competition is
”Happy Family and Filial Piety”.
Rules & Regulations:
The competition is open to those 7-25 years old, who are a student of a government school in
Singapore. Each candidate can only submit one entry and must be submitted through the school.
The essays must be original in content. Entries found to contain plagiarized content will
automatically be disqualified.
All entries must be written in English / Mandarin. The essays should be between 1000 and 2000
words, typewritten with double-spacing on A4 size paper with all pages numbered.
The deadline for submissions of entries is 09 September 2011. Winning essays will be announced
through the school on 30 September 2011. Only winners will be contacted upon the finalization
of the results and they will be requested to attend the Anniversary Celebration and receive the
prizes from the Mr Heng Swee Keat (Minister For Education).
The following awards will be given to the winning essays of Primary(7-12 years old),
Secondary(13-18 years old) & Tertiary(19-25 years old):
First prize Cash $500 + Boundless Love Collection
Second prize Cash $300 + Boundless Love Collection
Third prize Cash $200 + Boundless Love Collection
Merit prize Cash $50 + Boundless Love Collection
The essays will be assessed in confidence by an independent panel of judges. No appeals will be
entertained. The editorial board reserves the right to edit essays selected for publication.
All award winning entries become the property of the Kampung Senang Charity and Education
Foundation including the rights to publish.

2. 轻 安 村 12 周 年 “ 幸 福 家 庭 与 孝 道 ” 征 文 活 动
2011 年 10 月 09 日是轻安村迎接第 12 个年头的欢喜感恩日。为了庆贺这个
节日，感恩大家、回馈社会多年来对轻安村的支持与爱心，我们决定举办“幸
福家庭与孝道”征文比赛。
本次比赛宗旨在于鼓励发展孝道文化，促进社会团结、家庭和谐，创建身心
健康的轻安。
征文规则通知如下：
1、参赛对象：7-25 岁，新加坡政府学校在校学生。
2、参赛要求：参赛文章必须是个人原创。发现含有抄袭内容的参赛作品将自动被取消资
格。作品通过各学校推荐前三名，参加评比；推荐文章须由 A4 打印。
3、文章形式：英文/中文均可；体裁不限（记叙文、议论文、说明文、抒情文等均可）；
篇幅在 1000 – 2000 字以内。
4、时间安排：2011 年 9 月 9 日截稿。获奖文章 2011 年 9 月 30 日通过学校公布。获奖人
员将参加 10 月 9 日轻安村周年庆祝活动，由现任教育部长亲自颁发奖品。
5、奖项设置：
小学组（ 7-12 岁）：一等奖 1 名；二等奖：1 名；三等奖：1 名；优异奖若干。
中学组（12-18 岁）：一等奖 1 名；二等奖：1 名；三等奖：1 名；优异奖若干。
大学组（18-25 岁）：一等奖 1 名；二等奖：1 名；三等奖：1 名；优异奖若干。
6、奖金设置：
一等奖现金$500 +“无限的爱”收藏版
二等奖现金$300 +“无限的爱”收藏版
三等奖现金$200 +“无限的爱”收藏版
优异奖现金 $50 +“无限的爱”收藏版
7、参赛作品恕不退回，获奖作品轻安村将享有出版权。
