2. introduction
Ancient China was a very important civilization
because they made many inventions. This
civilization is interesting because there are a lot of
amazing facts. Archeologists know lots about daily
life, animals and inventions in Ancient China.
3. Structure of Society
In Ancient China daily life was easy for rich
people but hard for poor people. Everyone obeyed the
emperor and in every family everyone obeyed the father.
Boys usually followed their father to trade. Girls were
expected to marry and run to be in charge of the home.
Cites and towns were always build carefully in ancient
China.
4. Animals
Farmers raised chickens for eggs and meat and
goats for milk and meat. Farmers used oxen to pull
the plow and plant seeds. Nobles hunted and
raced horses. Small dogs were popular pets with
ladies. A poor family often kept a pet bird in a cage.
5. Daily life
In Ancient China life was sometimes difficult. Rich
women could not go outside. Many poor women
had to work on farms. In ancient China Chinese
people wore robes. Rich people’s robes were made
of silk. Poor people wore robes of rough clothes
that were easy to work in.
6. Inventions
In Ancient China they invented and discovered
many things. The most famous inventions in
ancient China were writing, printing, compass and
gunpowder. The Chinese figured out how to move
water for farming. Chinese invented a way of
keeping time. The Chinese invented kites,
umbrellas, chopstick and gunpowder. Many of the
everyday items people use today were invented a
long time ago in Ancient China.
7. Conclusion
In Ancient China daily life, animals and inventions
were important. Ancient China was very interesting
because there were so many great inventions and
amazing facts.
