Mission
In my view, if the mission statement defines the mission for all of the colleagues
within a company, then it would seem - if it's to be of any actual use or benefit - that
each colleague should be able to connect everything they do each day to that mission
in a meaningful way. The mission statement sets the context (and perhaps even
boundaries) within which all activities of the company should take place. Further, it
