NATIONAL EXPERTS WORKSHOP

 The total budget available at UNESCO for the PRETASHKET Case Study is of around
500.000 US dollars for activities to be performed both by Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan
experts.
 Duration of the Project July 2013 end of 2015-
 URGENT- UNESCO Almaty office will undertake a mission to ASTANA to coordinate
with State Commission and Ministry of Environment and the UNESCO National
Commission
 Set up a national team of experts including main national institutions with a clear
mandate such as the Institutes of Geography and Hydrogeology and including
outstanding experts such as Dr Podolny
 The Focal Point -Coordination to maintain contact and report directly to UNESCO
Almaty and Paris can be the IHP National Committee
 September 2013 - First National TEAM experts meeting to decide exactly what
actions, data and prepare steps actions
