It can not be cured as it is a disability. some children are even born with it ,about 1 in every 100 children are born with autism And autism can’t be passed around so you can’t catch it.
Symptoms
Delay or lack of talking about 40% of people with autism don’t talk
Can not develop relationships with people like family, friends and more…
Repetitive or idiosyncratic behaviour have a routine to do things
Interests in different parts of objects. E.g. like a car instead of playing with all of the car autistic people will focus on one part of the toy like the wheel
Are people with autism “thick”?
Only some autistic people are thick a lot of them are quite smart they und
understand numbers but don’t understand too much words if you keep asking them questions they might not be able to answer any one of those questions due to what’s going on in their mind.
5. 5. The world in their eyes
If I say to an autistic child “your driving me up the wall” they would expect me to be drive up a wall.
Also if the autistic child does not like or enjoy something(like a colour or object)they will not go near it.
They do not understand emotions in the next slide I will explain more in the next slide
6. 6. Emotions
Some autistic children don’t understand emotions like the ones on the right of this page they may understand happy and sad but if they see others they will be confused very easily this is because of the way they think if too much information comes in they won’t understand.
7. 7. Are they all the same?
No there are different types of autism because some people are “thick” and some are “clever” but they are not the same
