Summary As we head toward the future, we need to find ways to incorporate technology into classroom instruction. Opportunities must be provided to help teachers improve on their technology skills; they will then lead by example for their students. Educational leaders have a responsibility to encourage open communication with staff members, so they will know what technological resources are needed from year to year. The Texas STaR Chart allows campuses to focus on areas of technological needs. It disseminates the data into four areas that are in the Long-Range Plan for Technology.
