20. 22. To Do Lists

The simplest form of time management is simple checks and balances. These consist of sticky notes reminder notes, and lists. This is a good way to track “to-do’s” with little stress and allows us to have the go-with-the-flow flexibility

Good judgment comes from experience and experience comes from bad judgment: You cant fake experience
 21. 23. To Do Lists

The flip side of this idea is that it offers us no real structure and things tend to fall through the cracks. Sometimes important commitments can be forgotten or ignored. We may feel stress free but we will probably get very little accomplished.

 22. 24. Planning and Preparation Time Management

This type of management is successful in the area of tracking commitments and appointments . We can get much more accomplished through our goals and planning.

We refer to this as a “plan your work - work your plan” concept.
 23. 25. Planning, Preparing, and Controlling Many professionals can assume the responsibility for results and connect with their values. They can also assess their values and turn them into goals and actions. Because they manage and control their planning, people feel it and it gives structure to their lives.
 24. 26. The Urgency Addiction

We try to work harder, faster and smarter and think we can manage our lives. The truth is we are not in control; there are always consequences to our actions.

 25. 27.

You can choose to be addicted to the urgency addiction and suffer the consequences, or you can choose to be free of the chains. Whatever the situation, you always have a choice .

You have a choice.

 27. 29. Effective verses Efficient

When you're effective, you are able to accomplish the worthwhile goal you've chosen. When you're efficient, you quickly carry out actions. You won't be effective, however, unless those actions result in your achieving a meaningful goal .

 28. 30. Efficient verses Effective

Is it more important to get a job done efficiently…. Or to take the time to empower and employee to do it, both now and in the future?

Which will have an impact on the quality of your time, the time of others, the time of the organization?
