Hal spent his early days in IT as an enterprise systems engineer, having worked for several Fortune 20 companies over his career. In 2012, he joined Splunk, where he spent 2.5 years in Business Development as a solution architect and consultant. Most recently, he's moved to the Office of the CSO, where his passion for speaking and education are used to help grow the Splunk developer platform ecosystem, and build programs to sustain that growth. Hal is also the co-host for the long-running PowerScripting Podcast, a weekly Internet radio show which focuses on Windows PowerShell.
