I'm a Data Scientist at iFlix, a media streaming service based out of sunny Kuala Lumpur. My area of interest is building scalable machine learning solutions using Apache Spark. My work requires me to be proficient in data extraction using SQL and I develop machine learning models using R, Python and most recently, Scala. I'm the lead Data Scientist for the iFlix Content Recommendation system that uses a cloud based machine learning solution to serve personalized movie and TV recommendations to the 6 million users who watch iFlix in over 30 countries. Still new to the Deep Learning space, but definitely on my list of techniques to explore.
