About Coca-Cola<br />Coca-Cola is the most popular and biggest-selling soft drink in history, as well as one of the best known products in the world. <br />It was created in Atlanta, Georgia, by Dr. John S. Penberton. Coca-Cola was first offered as a fountain beverage by mixing Coca-Cola syrup with carbonated water. <br />Even though Coca-Cola may have started in the United States, its popularity is universal. Today, you can find Coke in every part of the world.<br />1.6 billion servings per day.<br />

Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Minute Maid, Sprite, Fanta, Hi-C, and vitaminwater all have their own individual twitter accounts.<br />This way everyone can keep up to date with their favorite drinks.<br />On Facebook, Coke has 5,392,938 friends.<br />Their page shows promotions they have going on and “fans” can post pictures of their Coke artwork/designs and even submit videos.<br />

Coca-Cola added an application on their Facebook page to “ocean-ize” a photo. This is just a fun way to alter your Facebook pictures.
Every time someone uses this application Coke is going to make a donation to the Ocean Conservancy.
Coke is Earth friendly</li></li></ul><li>Social Media Networks<br />Coca-Cola needs to utilize different aspects of social media in order to communicate with consumers.<br />This in turn will:<br />Increase brand awareness<br />Create a positive image for the brand<br />By taking advantage of these different networks such as Twitter, Myspace, Facebook and Youtube Coca-Cola will be able to see what customers are saying about the product and improve or change things if necessary.<br />
Blogs<br />Important and effective way to see who is saying what about Coca-Cola.<br />Phil Mooney is a Coke Historian. On the main Coca-Cola page there is a link to his site and he talks about all the different ads and bottles Coke has gone through, he interacts with Cokes’ consumers.<br />
Conclusion<br />Coca-Cola is one of the most well recognized brands in the entire world.<br />They have achieved this by proper usage of social media (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, ect.)<br />Coca-Cola needs to keep using these resources to keep up a positive image for Coke and get feedback from their customers while bringing in new customers in the years to come.<br />
