INITIAL IDEA
Idea 1

A scene taking place in the famous fields of primrose hill, where 4 students decide to hang
out on a Friday night during Halloween. A specific culprit is out there in the streets of
Camden mugging young teenagers in a mask hiding his identity. News hit the streets that
the murderer is lingering around, and all of a sudden a dark figure is standing at the exit of
Primrose Hill Park… is that him trying to haunt these teenagers?

Idea 2

a group of gang affiliated youths are posted up in a flat chilling, listening to music at late
hours, smoking, where all of a sudden the lights in the flats cut out and one of the youths
goes missing, in the dark silence a door slams a couple floors above them, and screaming is
heard.. The rest of the boys try to find a way into the house but the sounds of knifes and
slicing fear them and they find an exit and run for help.

Idea 3

A young lad who recently returns from hospital diagnosed with a rare disease, stays at home
not attending school or socialising with his peers, till a friend of his comes to visit him and he
drinks from the same cup as the diseased one, meaning he has now caught the disease
without knowing… and it keeps spreading to another 3, 4 people in the same school.

Props;

         Lighting
         Youth associated jumpers/hoodies
         Masks
         Medicine/tablets
         Fake weapons

FINAL CHOSEN PIECE
I have chosen idea number 1 as my final thriller piece. Reason being is that I feel it’s the most
viable idea in terms of characters, narrative, budgets, locations, props etc. it’s also more
achievable. I feel that it’s the most appropriate one, and it appeals more to my target
audience. The narrative will easily engage the audience as it has more of an exciting
atmosphere and the tension builds up throughout. Also my target audience is ranged from
ages 15 – 22. This is most appealing to this age group as the genre signifiers are more
suitable and quicker to attract this age groups attention.
