2. Kasaracode is a non-profit organization which aims
to bring out 100 successful startups and 1000 super
coders from Kasaragod by the year 2020 creating an
organic startup ecosystem in the small town.
4. Success stories help convince parents, which
otherwise is one of the biggest hurdles to startup in
Kasaragod (for that matter anywhere in India)
5. Our schools kill creativity. Encourage students to
start coding from primary levels, so that we have
founders who can code their way to a startup
6. Kasaragodians have entrepreneurship in their bloods.
We are adventurous and risk takers by nature. If
provided with the right environment and support, tech
startups can really take off from “Kasaracode”
7. Coffee and high tech have had a symbiotic relation
since the beginning of computer age. A self
sustainable tech friendly coffee shop in the plans
with free Wi-Fi, good company and caffeine on tap
8. A meet up was held on September 8, around 10
startups took part. Presented their products and
brainstormed the way ahead for Kasaracode
