If a person knows many facts, it is impressive, but not very useful. It is of much greater importance
to be able to find information quickly, organize that information, analyze and understand the main
ideas, put different pieces of information together (synthesize), and create new information. Together
these skills make what we call information management and innovation, the skills which are most
desired in the business world. Most people in the world believe that education is about remembering
things to take tests which measure one's performance against other people who have studied the
same information. However, this idea no longer matches the reality of the modern world in which
knowledge is less important than creativity and deep understanding. To be successful in the age of
technology, education must focus on helping students gain information management and innovation
skills.

Let's say you have a box of crayons. It represents ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), now inside
the box you have different colors of crayons. Each color/crayon is a different disorder. The color
we want to talk about today is teal, the official color for autism. Stuart Duncan once said, "Autism,
like a rainbow, has a bright side and a dark side and even though it can mean rough waters it can be
beautiful." Autism isn't a label, it's a diagnoses. People with autism can be just as successful as
neurotypical people. People with autism have been the subject of stereotypes and neglect for
decades. Only in the last 150 years or so have things started to change. We don't know what causes
autism, but thanks to increased research and awareness we're making more progress than ever.
People with autism face many challenges everyday, autism is a spectrum. It's not the same for
everyone. Due to it being a spectrum it can be hard for people without autism to understand the
challenges autistic people face, and how to go about interacting with autistic people. There are
lots of autistic people worldwide, it's time we start making them feel more like people. 1 in 68
people in the US have autism, this includes 1 in 189 girls and 1 in 42 boys. Autism is a difference
in perception; technically it's a developmental disorder that is the result of a difference in brain
chemicals. Scientists don't know what causes autism or why it's stayed in the human gene pool for
so long. People with autism could have a wide variety of symptoms, but some of the most common
characteristics are fixations on things they like, reliance on routines,and lack of social skills. Autism
can be formally diagnosed at ages as young as 3. There is no medical test to diagnose autism, rather
a trained professional in the psychology field will perform a developmental screening and a
comprehensive diagnostic evaluation. When a child is diagnosed with autism, therapy is strongly
recommended. The earlier treatment starts the better because certain aspects of the disorder can be
lessened through therapy. Therapy helps the mind and the body, certain therapies can help rebuild
your brain, so to speak. Autistic brains are physically different than neurotypical ones.

When I hear the word family, I think of people who are are blood related, the people you live

Loyalty is sticking with the people who have hurt you or lost your trust. It's having someone's back
even though they might've stabbed you in yours. When you have loyalty, you don't leave someone
just because they said something mean about you or you heard something from someone else. They
might have hurt you, or you might've gotten into an argument, but at the end of the day you will
always be best friends. When you have loyalty is doesn't matter what they said or what they did, you

Global Warming: Myth or Fact? The Global Warming theory has become increasingly popular over
the past few years. Citizens of the world are being encouraged to be more environmentally conscious
by others including politicians, celebrities, and world organizations. The problem with the theory

One of the areas of my writing where I was struggling in using my voice. Granite, there were parts
of my essay where I successfully integrated quotes within my voice, but for the most part that was
my weakest area. For example of one of my better integrated quotes, in my third paragraph when I
say, "Today, consumers rely on social media for everything, whether it is communicating with old
friends, finding new friends, shopping, researching, and staying informed with the latest news.

Danial J. Solove is an eminent author and a law professor at University of George Washington law
school. Dr. Solove introduces the article why privacy matters if you have "Nothing to Hide" in an
interesting way that, In his introduction of the eassy, he puts a valid question to the audience

Thousands of individuals are living in poverty. Why is it that this worldwide dilemma is still

emphasizing the fact that statements like the one listed, often influence readers to paint
inaccurate mental pictures of poverty that continue to shine light on the ideology of stereotypes
being the pinpoint cause to poverty. However, there are many other causes that are often
overshadowed, leaving some individuals to believe that poverty was wrongfully placed upon
them. Examples would include: high rates of unemployment, low paying jobs, race, and health
complications. Which are all out of one's ability to control. There is no control over a lack of jobs
and high rates of unemployment, nor the amount of inadequate wages the working poor receive.
Greg Kaufmann, an advisor for the Economic Hardship Reporting Project and The Half in Ten
campaign, complicates matters further when he writes, "Jobs in the U.S. [were] paying less than
$34,000 a year: 50 percent. Jobs in the U.S. [were] paying below the poverty line for a family of
four, less than $23,000 annually: 25 percent" (33). Acknowledging Kaufmann's fact, the amount
received for a family of four is fairly close to the yearly salary of a high school graduate, which

Greenwood and I interviewed Mr. Kevin Uter in regards to this complaint of missing property that
